Shocking footage has emerged of former NFL star Sergio Brown fighting with Mexican officials on a plane as they try to extradite him back to the United States to face charges in the murder of his mother.

Brown, 35, had been on the run for almost a month since he was accused of killing 73-year-old Myrtle Jean Simmons-Brown.

He was finally caught trying to re-enter the country on Tuesday.

Now, footage has emerged showing the former New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts safety scrapping with immigration officials aboard a flight from Mexico City.

In the clip obtained by CBS8, Brown can be heard shouting: ‘They’re kidnapping me I’m from Chicago. I shouldn’t be going to Tijuana,’ as he struggles against the officers.

Two Mexican immigration officers are seen trying to restrain the former NFL defensive back as she screams: ‘Let me go. This is kidnapping.’

The piece was filmed by fellow passenger Michelle Williams who noticed that Brown was not handcuffed.

The body of Brown’s mother was discovered Sept. 16 in a creek behind her Chicago home with “multiple assault injuries,” according to officials.
