Two-time MLB All-Star Asdrubal Cabrera brutally punched his rival batter in a frenzied moment in the Venezuela Professional Baseball winter league Saturday night.
Cabrera, currently an MLB free agent after stints in Arizona, Cincinnati, Cleveland, New York (Mets), Philadelphia, Tampa, Texas and Washington, delivered a sickening blow to opponent, Carlos Castro.
The Tiburones de La Guaira batter had hit his third homerun of the evening and celebrated with an exuberant batflip,
Castro wasn’t done there and made sure to also denounce the Caribes de Anzoategui bank.

Cabrera was clearly dissatisfied with the outward festivities and decided to take matters into his own hands.
The former Texas Ranger took a page from legendary Texan wrestler JBL’s WWE playbook and delivered a hell of a clothesline that brutally put Castro down.
His body was limp when he hit the dirt, though Cabrera soon followed him to the ground as he was knocked over in the ensuing scuffle.
The former 15-year MLB veteran has seemingly accused Castro of alleged unsportsmanlike conduct
The Venezuelan played for both the Tampa Bay Rays and the then Cleveland Indians, among others
It is unknown if Castro returned to the game, but his team got the last laugh, winning 6-4 against Cabrera’s team in what must have been another source of frustration for the already emotional Venezuelan.
Cabrera played in the Majors for 15 years and began his career with the then Cleveland Indians.
The 37-year-old got back-to-back All-Star nods in 2011 and 2012 while in Cleveland uniform.
Cabrera became world champion during his second stint with the Washington Nationals in 2019 after being released by Texas in August of that year.
