“I remember taking off and it was a glass bottom helicopter, so you literally looked down and you could see the floor.

'It was horrible.

“So when we got halfway there, the pilot just said, 'Do you want to take over, do you want to take control?' And I was like “go ahead” and I did!

In the show, Michelle plays the apparent widow Maya Stern, but after installing a nanny cam to keep an eye on her young daughter, she sees her late husband Joe – played by Richard Armitage – on camera.

This revelation throws Maya into a world of conspiracy as she wonders what really happened to her partner and what role his family, and specifically his mother (Joanna Lumley as Judith Burkett), played in the saga.

The star's latest project comes after spending some time with the family when she and Mark joined the family to celebrate his father's birthday at the Corinthia Hotel last month.

Fool Me Once is currently available to stream on Netflix.
