Florence Pugh seems to have no bad feelings for her ex-boyfriend Zach Braff.
During an interview with Lara Spencer on Good morning america on Wednesday, the British star called Braff “a fantastic writer” as they worked together on the new movie A Good Person.
The actors broke up in 2022 after dating for three years.
And he also admires his co-stars Morgan Freeman, who plays his mentor, and Molly Shannon, who plays his mother. The Little Women star called them the ‘greats’ of acting.
A Good Person opens in US theaters on Friday.

The film follows Allison (Florence), whose world falls apart in the blink of an eye when she survives an unimaginable tragedy, emerging from recovery with an opiate addiction and unresolved grief.
Eventually, he forms an unlikely friendship with his would-be father-in-law (Freeman), giving him a fighting chance to put his life back together and move on.
As for working with Freeman, she said she felt lucky for the opportunity. And her characters fit well. “It’s an unexpected but much-needed friendship,” she said of her on-screen relationship with Freeman’s character.

“It’s a sensitive, dark and sad subject, but there are moments of lightness and Zach has written a fantastic script and mentions how we deal with moments of sadness,” he said.
Pugh said of Molly Shannon that she’s great too; the comedian plays her mother. “She’s crazy, she’s a crazy home,” she said of her on-screen family.

In the movie they had a fight and she said it just works because they’re about the same size and they were both looking forward to ‘really going for it, yeah we fight’.
Florence said she really got into the fight and Shannon pushed for her to be stronger, saying she was “chubby and feisty” and loved fighting her.
They had to wear protectors because they fought a lot.
Pugh also talked to Spencer about why she felt cutting her hair was important for A Good Person.
