Flight attendant claims a simple mistake on a plane could get you a LIFETIME BAN – and influencers love to do it

Many mistakes can be forgiven, but an ex-flight attendant has revealed an action on a plane so ‘ridiculous’ and ‘crazy’ it could result in a lifetime ban from flying.

Skye Taylor, 49, from Southampton, worked as a flight attendant for 17 years, starting with low-cost airlines and working her way up to a job with Virgin Atlantic.

She hung up her flying boots just over a year ago and is now speaking out about the behavior of other cabin crew influencers who left her ‘horrified’.

Skye told MailOnline: ‘I was watching one TikTok the other day, and I was absolutely shocked.

‘An influencer stepped over the markings [on the runway]the security area, and everyone said, “Oh wow, that’s incredible.”

“But she was sitting right next to the bike, it was ridiculous.”

However, the former flight attendant was left even more baffled by another influencer.

She said: ‘I’ve seen a lot of other things that make me go, “Oh my God!”

‘In another video it was like an influencer was writing on the mirror or something in the bathroom – and I thought this could be a huge safety risk.

“Because messages are known to have been left, you know [dangerous people] and I think people often don’t want to say it because I’m old, but it’s a younger generation thing.

“I think sense goes out the window.

‘It’s ultimately about safety. Something could happen to you or you could endanger that plane, and I’ve seen it many times.”

Skye believes that some influencers have become bolder and more daring just to get others to watch their videos without thinking about the dire consequences.

“Doing that to get opinions, that’s ridiculous,” she continued.

‘It’s insane, and on top of that you’ll probably get a lifetime ban.

‘We have to report this immediately and it doesn’t matter [what the message says] because they will [police] decode things differently than we do.

‘The police or the aviation authority will look at things differently than normal people.’

In February of this year, a United Airlines flight was forced to land in Chicago after someone wrote a bomb threat on a mirror in one of the plane’s lavatories.

It later turned out that the plane was free of any threat.
