Fired up Eagles star has to be HELD BACK by coaches after wildly celebrating late win over Saints

An Eagles star player had to be held back by his coaches Sunday as Philly secured a narrow victory over the Saints.

Saquon Barkley scored a game-winning rushing touchdown with 1:01 left in the game and the Eagles went on to win 15-12.

And after the victory was sealed with an interception by New Orleans’ Derek Carr, Philly sophomore defensive tackle Jalen Carter couldn’t resist shaking the ears of Saints players and fans.

As Carter railed against the crowd and New Orleans’ Tyrann Mathieu, Eagles defensive line coach Clint Hurtt, head coach Nick Sirianni and chief security officer “Big” Dom DiSandro approached him to calm him down.

Sirianni in particular didn’t seem happy with Carter’s teasing and got right in his face to let him know so.

The Eagles will still be happy with a win from New Orleans, after their shock loss to the Falcons last Monday.

Carter totaled four tackles in the win, which moves Philly to 2-1 on the year.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts threw for 311 yards in the game-winning drive, while Saquon Barkley added 147 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

The Saints’ Chris Olave had 86 receiving yards and a touchdown to give the Saints a lead after just two minutes.

Carter and the Eagles are looking to push through next weekend against the Buccaneers.
