Fernando Alonso responds to suggestions Taylor Swift took a jab at him in her new album The Tortured Poets Department by featuring in hilarious TikTok after rumoured romance
Fernando Alonso has jokingly responded to suggestions that Taylor Swift references him in the singer’s new album.
Formula 1 fans were convinced Swift was taking a swipe at Alonso with her song ‘imgonnagetyouback’, which appears on her album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’.
Prior to Swift’s current relationship with American football star Travis Kelce, there were rumors that she was dating Alonso, who drives for Aston Martin last year.
In the song, Swift mentions an Aston Martin being sent into a ditch.
Alonso has now joked about the situation by appearing in a TikTok video on the official AstonMartinF1 page, in which he listens to the song and puts his finger to his lips.

Swift sings, “Small talk, big walk, act like I don’t care what you did. I’m an Aston Martin that you sent straight into the ditch.

Swift is known for often referencing her past relationships in her songs.
Alonso joined the Aston Martin team ahead of the 2023 season after switching from Alpine.
Neither Swift nor Alonso confirmed their romance at the time, but there has been a lot of speculation online.
After the song was released, many fans on X commented on the apparent romance between Swift and Alonsp.
A Formula 1 fan wrote: ‘Wait…did they actually have a date?’.
Another said: ‘Taylonso will never die’.
Meanwhile, another wrote: ‘Shading Fernando Alonso like this is crazy, your relationship wasn’t dramatic for so long girl.’
