Federico Valverde has stressed that he has no regrets for beating Alex Baena after Real Madrid’s defeat to Villarreal last week.
Valverde punched Baena in the face during an altercation in the Bernabeu car park as the Spanish midfielder boarded the team bus.
Baena has since opted to press charges following the incident and Villarreal confirmed in a statement on Sunday night that police will now be involved.
