BREAKING NEWS: The FBI is “investigating Republican liar George Santos for stealing $3,000 collected for service dog Sapphire, a homeless Navy veteran who suffered from cancer, and later died in agony.”

  • Richard Osthoff was contacted by FBI agents investigating the scheme this week.
  • He accused Santos of stealing money he raised for a cancer operation that saved his life
  • He claims Santos’ alleged ploy delayed the procedure that could have kept the dog alive

The FBI is investigating George Santos on allegations that he stole $3,000 raised for a homeless Navy veteran’s cancer-stricken dog.

The US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York this week contacted ex-serviceman Richard Osthoff, according to political.

Osthoff claims that Santos used the story of the pit bull mix named Sapphire to raise $3,000 for life-saving surgery to remove a cancerous tumor.

Santos allegedly failed to deliver the funds and the dog died.

The report states that Osthoff provided agents with text messages between himself and a man calling himself “Anthony Devolder,” one of Santos’s aliases.

The FBI is investigating George Santos for his role in a GoFundMe scheme to raise money for a veteran’s dead dog, a report claims.

Disabled veteran Richard Osthoff has claimed that Santos defrauded thousands who were intent on saving his dying dog Sapphire.

The report, released Tuesday, contains explosive claims about the GOP freshman made by Richard Osthoff, a disabled veteran who in May 2016 was living with his ailing service dog, Sapphire, on a New Jersey highway.

The messages, first reported in Patchhe suggested that Devolder mentor Osthoff before abruptly saying that Sapphire was ineligible for funding.

Osthoff claims that Santos’ alleged muse delayed the procedure that could have saved Sapphire’s life.

In 2016, the disabled veteran lived in a chicken coop on the side of a highway in New Jersey.

After successfully raising the funds, Devolder allegedly took down the fundraiser and disappeared with the money, leaving Osthoff, who suffers from severe PTSD, in the lurch. Months later, Sapphire succumbed to his illness and died.

Since then, Santos has been charged with several fraud cases and faces multiple criminal investigations over allegations that he lied about his qualifications for Congress.

Osthoff told Politico on Wednesday: ‘I’m glad the ball is rolling with the big shots. I was worried that what happened to me was too long ago to be processed.’
