Some longtime followers of the franchise took issue with the apparent lack of diversity in the cast, the absence of LGBT representation, and the “old” premise.

“Three bachelors, all with women out. Do we need more white men on TV?!’ noted one awake fan.
Another said it was time for The Bachelor to change its format to include gay contestants and that they “won’t watch” until it happens.
Meanwhile, a viewer asked outright, “Can it get any messier?”

The final season shakes up the show’s format by having the women compete for three suitors: Thomas Malucelli, Jed McIntosh, and Felix Von Hofe.
The show won’t air until January 2023, having been bumped from Q4 2022 to make way for ratings flop The Real Love Boat.
“Ten have called for the show to be postponed to early 2023 so they can focus on promoting The Real Love Boat,” a source previously said.
Some longtime followers of the franchise objected to the apparent lack of diversity in the cast, the absence of LGBT representation, and the “outdated” format
“I don’t see them airing reality dating shows back-to-back and there’s only 10 ratings left…they’d rather hold onto it and give it the publicity it needs.”
The Real Love Boat ended up in The Bachelor’s time slot, becoming one of the worst performing shows in recent free TV history.
The Bachelors premieres Monday, January 9 on 10 and 10 Play
