Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg takes out his $300m super yacht AND $30m support boat – complete with helipad – in Majorca as he celebrates Father’s Day his with his dad Ed
Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg is celebrating Father’s Day on his new £237 million ‘superyacht’.
The father of three hosted his own father to also celebrate Edward Zuckerberg’s recent 70th birthday on the ship called Launchpad.
Zuckerberg’s ‘superyacht’, which surfaced off the coast of the Spanish island of Mallorca last week, is estimated to be worth $300 million and was described as a recent ’40th birthday present’ to himself.
He and his siblings were seen in recently shared photos wearing T-shirts with the words “Ed’s kids” — while his father read, “I’m Ed.”

Posting smiling photos on Instagram, Zuckerberg said, “Happy Father’s Day to the man who started and continues to inspire our entire family.
“We are also celebrating his 70th birthday and it was really something to hear the grandchildren (at least the ones old enough) last night at dinner taking turns telling Dad the ways he is meaningful in their lives. Here’s to many more.’

The main ship, built at the Feadship shipyard in the Netherlands, can accommodate 26 guests and 50 crew members.
Facilities also include a beach club area, a beauty centre, a Blena cinema theater and a helicopter.
According to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index, Zuckerberg’s net worth is $187 billion.
Last month, he celebrated his 40th birthday by sharing rare photos of his family and friends on Instagram, sharing how his wife Priscilla Chan “recreated some of the places I used to live.”
In one photo, he sat next to Bill Gates in a miniature version of the Harvard dorm room where the Meta-billionaire created Facebook.
Another image showed Zuckerberg with his daughters Maxima, 8, and six-year-old August, as he showed them around a recreation of his childhood bedroom where he learned to code.

According to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index, Mark Zuckerberg has a fortune of £148 billion.
Zuckerberg celebrated his 40th birthday last month by sharing a selection of photos, including this one of him sitting next to Bill Gates in a miniature version of his old Harvard dorm.

He captioned an Instagram carousel of his newly uploaded photos with the words, “Grateful for my first 40 years!”
He also wrote: ‘Grateful that people from all over the world traveled to celebrate with me.’
His company Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram, has seen its share price rise more than 50 percent this year, adding $58.8 billion (£46.5 billion) to its owner’s fortune.
That meant he overtook Elon Musk – owner of Tesla and X, formerly Twitter – who was pushed to fourth place in the rankings of the richest people in the world.
A feud between the rival billionaires flared up last year when Musk tweeted that Instagram makes people depressed.
He later said Meta-owned WhatsApp was “not to be trusted” and challenged Zuckerberg to a cage fight – although the plans fell through when Musk complained of an injury.
Zuckerberg responded by saying that “Elon is not taking it seriously” about any fight.
The pair also traded barbs when Meta launched Threads in an attempt to match X.
Father-of-three Zuckerberg has been married to Priscilla Chan since 2012, the couple meeting nine years earlier at Harvard University.

In February this year, he posted videos of himself on Instagram making a Kitana sword with the help of Japanese sword master Akihira Kokaji.
Zuckerberg had been in Japan to celebrate his wife’s 39th birthday and also meet Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida to discuss artificial intelligence.
In addition to making swords, Zuckerberg’s hobbies include tending a herd of cows drinking beer and eating macadamia nuts at his $100 million luxury estate in Hawaii.
His other assets include a Gulfstream G650 private jet, while his firm Meta Platforms spent $1.6 million (£1.3 million) on air travel in 2021 and a further $6.6 million (£5.2 million) the following year.
