Manchester City will play Newcastle in the FA Cup quarter-finals, while Manchester United and Nottingham Forest will face the winner of Liverpool vs Southampton.

The Premier League champions kept their quest for a second successive Treble alive with a 6-2 win at Luton on Tuesday evening and will host Newcastle, who needed penalties to eliminate Blackburn Rovers in the fifth round.

Forest host United at the City Ground on Wednesday night in a match that could effectively end the visitors’ season, while Liverpool welcome Southampton to Anfield just three days after winning the Carabao Cup.

Leicester’s reward for eliminating Bournemouth on Tuesday night will be a draw against the winner of Chelsea vs Leeds, while compatriots Coventry will face the winner of Wolves vs Brighton.

The quarter-finals will be played on the weekend starting on March 16.
