A bride starring in Married At First Sight UK was questioned by police after being accused of ‘cutting up’ her husband’s clothes and breaking two of his designer watches.
Porscha Pernnelle, 35, who said ‘I do’ to husband Terence Edwards, 41, on Monday night’s show, is said to have ransacked the apartment they shared while filming the E4 series after an explosive row.
Dad-of-three Terence was shocked to find his clothes and personal items, including a Michael Kors and Hugo Boss watch, damaged after one of the show’s ‘commitment ceremonies’, where contestants decide whether to stay or leave the process.
He called the police who questioned his bride Porscha about the broken items as she was the only person with access to the Wembley flat where couples were housed by the broadcaster during the TV experiment.
As a sign of goodwill and after Terence complained to Channel 4 about his torn clothes and shattered watches, they replaced the items, with the groom telling his friends: ‘Fair play to the show, it took forever, and it was stressful wait, but in the end they got all my stuff in order.’

A source close to the program told MailOnline: ‘Porscha and Terence struggled to get along during the process and often had different ideas about their marriage.
‘Terence has chosen to leave the show several times while Porscha wanted to stay, increasing tensions in their partnership.
‘Terence discovered one morning that the things he had left in his apartment were damaged, his clothes were torn and his watches were broken.
‘He had no choice but to call the police as he suspected his bride might be the cause.’
In an image exclusively obtained by MailOnline, Terence depicted his two restored watches, admitting that while he was ‘stressed’ waiting for the replacement, he is glad the ‘show got its shit together in the end’ .

Mother-of-one Porsha, a devout Christian, was unsure whether their new relationship could work as Terence is a DJ and often parties in nightclubs until the early hours, while she likes to be in bed by 11pm.
Before asking Terence his name, Porscha questioned him about his religious beliefs, with Terence confirming that he is in fact a Christian and a father of three from a previous relationship.

It is the latest in a series of scandals linked to the E4 show after contestant Nathaniel Valentino branded the series a ‘sham’ and claimed couples are manipulated by ‘goblins’ who provoke conflict.
Nathanial married transgender bride Ella Morgan last week and has since spoken out about his experiences, insisting the show didn’t listen to the list of preferences he looks for in a partner.
The former Geordie Shore star claims he asked not to be linked to a smoker or anyone who has worked in the sex industry, both of which Ella belongs to.
MailOnline also exposed the show for ‘faking’ reactions among the cast after producers told Nathanial in advance that he was going to marry a transgender bride, which goes against the premise of the series.
A Channel 4 spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘Some clothing was damaged on site, but the contributor had the items replaced or reimbursed by production.’
