Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin made a rare public appearance Wednesday night as they celebrated the actress’ 34th birthday in Los Angeles.
The stunning Fifty Shades Of Gray star and her hot Coldplay singer, 46, were spotted with friends at chic hotspot Pace in Laurel Canyon.
The group seemed to be enjoying themselves as Dakota and Chris couldn’t contain their smiles as they tucked into an Italian meal on the expansive patio.
The brunette beauty showed off her sharp fashion sense by wearing a denim jacket, gray sweatshirt and black leather pants.
The Hymn For The Weekend hitmaker looked casual in a white T-shirt with the text ‘love is the drug’ and a gray beanie.

As they left the birthday party and headed to their car, Chris proved to be a true gentleman as he held the door open for his beautiful girlfriend.
The birthday party came a few days after Dakota was spotted at the Coldplay concert at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, along with her mother Melanie Griffith.
The famous mother and daughter were seen at the Los Angeles premiere of Dakota’s Roku series Slip earlier this year.
Dakota and Chris’ public outings were rare occasions, as they still “guard their privacy” six years into their romance, according to her 2022 interview with Vanity fair.

The star revealed that part of the reason for the secrecy is the need to keep the peace with their “big, blended family,” as Dakota is one of Melanie and Don Johnson’s children (she is one of seven half-brothers and sisters) and Chris is raising two children – Apple and Moses – with Gwyneth Paltrow.
“Maybe I think differently about relationships like that because I grew up in my family,” she said.
“We were all cool (with each other).
“Of course there were times when it wasn’t cool, but I experienced that, so I don’t want that in my life,” she said.
‘I don’t want children to experience something like that. It’s better to be nice, and it’s also very nice that everyone really loves each other and supports each other.’
Since Dakota and Chris started dating in 2017, they have “never really left each other,” she also told Vanity Fair at the time.

For example, in May the couple was spotted having a sushi dinner in Hollywood, and a few days before that they visited a cafe for a cup of coffee.
The birthday girl also opened up about her private relationship with Chris and Elle in 2021.
“We’ve been together for a while and go out sometimes, but we both work so much that it’s nice to be home and be nice and private,” she explained.
“Most parties take place in my house.”
