Tyson Pedro has shared an image of the moment he broke his elbow, with the nasty injury derailing the former UFC star’s plans to make his professional boxing debut.

Pedro was scheduled to meet Australian heavyweight champion Kris Terzievski for the vacant WBC International Bridgerweight title in an exclusive Stan pay-per-view fight on June 12 at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, but the fight has been called off.

A ‘devastated’ Pedro shared a horrific image of the moment he broke his arm on social media on Wednesday morning.

“Not the way you want your arm to go,” Pedro captioned the photo.

‘Pretty devastated, have to postpone the fight. Luckily, it’s not a bad break and should be a quick turnaround.

Boxing legend and promoter Danny Green also commented on the Australian fighter’s withdrawal from the fight.

“He’s quite gutted … it’s quite deflating and quite devastating news for him and his family and everyone involved around him,” Green said. Broad sports world.
