Evan Rachel Wood ‘hands over primary custody of son to Jamie Bell’
Evan Rachel Wood has ‘handed over primary custody of her son’ to ex Jamie Bell for fear of putting her child in danger after ex Marilyn Manson made alleged threats against him, reports The blast.
According to legal documents obtained by the publication, the actress, 35, has agreed that son Jack, 9, will “mainly” live with Bell, 36, in Los Angeles.
She currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee and has previously fought to keep her son out of LA.
In the filing, Wood and Bell agreed that their son will “mainly live with (him) in Los Angeles, (Wood) will have custody of Jack one (1) extended weekend per month starting Friday, after school or 10:00 a.m. ‘
Wood also gets custody of Jack for vacations like Spring Break. In July 2022, Bell claimed that the couple shared “equal custody of Jack” for seven years before Wood “kept Jack away from him” – a claim she denied.
Sources tell the publication that Wood is “extremely afraid of putting her son in danger” by the child living with her in Los Angeles. Manson, 54, has faced claims of sexual abuse and human trafficking. More than a dozen women, including Wood, accuse him of abuse that Manson has denied.

Wood has reportedly spoken about her fears of retaliation from the singer, saying in court for custody: “I am a star witness in an ongoing criminal investigation. In connection with the investigation, I allege that I was subjected to torture, rape and pedophile grooming by a deliberately well-known public figure.”
‘I am extremely afraid of the alleged perpetrator. I have suffered a serious, traumatic physical and emotional injury at his hands and I fear he will seek retaliation against me for testifying by harming me, our son and members of our family.”
It was also alleged that Wood claims she was told “directly by investigators” that her family’s safety was at risk.
Bell allegedly filed documents with the court alleging that Wood “hidden their son from him,” that it “didn’t matter what was going on with Manson,” and that the couple should share custody of their son in LA.
He wrote, “Whatever fear Evan has regarding third parties should have nothing to do with me or custody of our son. I don’t even want to think about the short- and long-term psychological damage Evan could inflict on Jack with this kind of talk and my long-term separation from him.”
Wood replied, denying keeping Jack from Bell, expressing her “real and deep concerns” for her and Jack’s safety if the couple lived in LA.
The new custody arrangement was signed and filed in the LA County Courts.

In December 2021, Manson reportedly threatened the families of women who accused him of sexual assault and sex trafficking, according to court documents unearthed by DailyMail.com.
The rock musician allegedly told Westworld actress Wood that he would “fuck” her then eight-year-old son, she said in a statement to the court. Manson denies the allegations.
“I took his threat seriously, then and now,” she said.
Manson’s threats forced Wood to put bulletproof glass windows, a steel door and a security fence around her Los Angeles home, she told a judge.
“I watch attack dogs and guards at night,” she added.
Wood made the allegations against Manson in a lawsuit with ex-partner Bell over custody of their son, Jack.
She said in a March statement: “I only recently learned that (Manson) was involved in large-scale human trafficking and sexual exploitation of minors.
“These new developments, combined with the ongoing criminal investigation, make me very concerned for the safety of our child in Los Angeles.”
Bell claimed Wood moved from LA to Nashville to keep the boy away from him. But Wood said she wanted to leave California because of her fear of Manson and because she liked the slower pace of life in Tennessee.

In her papers, Wood referred to Manson as “the alleged perpetrator” and confirmed she intends to testify against him in court.
“I am extremely afraid of the alleged perpetrator,” Wood said. “I have suffered serious, traumatic physical and emotional harm at his hands and I fear he will seek retaliation against me for testifying by harming me, our son and members of my family.
“In my experience, the alleged perpetrator is very retaliatory and has always made it clear that he will ruin my life.”
She said one of Manson’s other alleged victims taped him and said he had pictures of her children going to their mailboxes, as well as their social security numbers.
“I’ve got everything, they’re screwed up and they’re going to be fucking destroyed,” he allegedly told the unknown woman.
He allegedly said he knew where all the people who “caused his troubles” were. “I know where they live, where their damn kids go to school, where they work, their parents…”
Wood said she had been inundated with death threats since she made her accusations against Manson in February.
Wood and Billy Elliott star Bell first dated in 2005 and they rekindled their romance after her relationship with Manson fell apart.
People reported in 2012 that they married in a “small ceremony with close family and friends,” but in his motion, Bell said they never formally tied the knot.
In January 2023. Manson was charged with allegedly assaulting and assaulting an underage girl in the 1990s, according to a new lawsuit.
The singer was listed as a defendant alongside his former labels Interscope and Nothing Records. The prosecution filed anonymously, alleging that Manson repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted her from the age of 16, laughing at her and threatening to kill her family if she told anyone.
The lawsuit focuses on sexual crimes that allegedly took place early in his career. Manson denies the sexual assault allegations made against him by at least 15 other women later in his career.
The week before, he settled out of court with Game of Thrones actress Esme Bianco, who said he raped, abused and locked her in his bedroom while they were dating.

It comes after a judge dismissed a lawsuit against Manson alleging he sexually, psychologically and physically abused his ex-girlfriend.
Ashley Morgan Smithline alleged that Manson abused her during their two-year relationship that began in 2010.
Smithline’s case was dismissed unconditionally in January after the model fired her lawyer and subsequently failed to meet the deadline for representation in court.
Smithline was one of 15 women – including actresses Wood and Bianco – who made accusations against Manson.
