Eva Mendes reacts to Ryan Gosling’s hilarious Can’t Tonight sketch on Saturday Night Live: ‘Cuban Papi made this Cuban Mami so happy with this!!’
Eva Mendes shared her approval for her longtime partner Ryan Gosling’s Saturday Night Live skit Can’t Tonight by posting a clip of the segment to her Instagram account on Tuesday.
The 43-year-old artist, who hosted last week’s episode of the program, stated during the segment that a “Cuban woman can change you” and called himself a “Cuban papi” despite being from Tennessee.
The 50-year-old actress – whose brother recently complimented her parenting skills – then wrote a short message in the caption of her post to let her fans know that her ‘Cuban Papi made this Cuban Mami so happy with this!!’
Mendes then surmised that Gosling’s countless “years of association with my father paid off.”
She also praised the work of her partner’s costars, Marcello Hernandez and Kenan Thompson, writing that she couldn’t “wait for this trio’s next reunion.”

The actress and her partner first met while working on the 2012 feature film The Place Beyond The Pines.
Gosling was previously associated with Sandra Bullock and Rachel McAdams, with whom he starred in Murder By Numbers and The Notebook respectively.
He eventually moved on with Mendes, whom he officially started dating in 2011, prior to the release of their film.
The happy couple then started a family with the birth of their first daughter Esmeralda, nine, which took place in 2014.
Gosling and Mendes then welcomed a second daughter named Amada, seven, two years later.
A source recently spoke out People and told the media that the couple’s main priority was the well-being of their children.
