Eva Longoria reunites with Desperate Housewives co-star Jesse Metcalfe as they share a hug in Las Vegas: 'There's nothing like running into an old friend!'

Eva Longoria reunited with her former Desperate Housewives co-star Jesse Metcalfe as the pair took a break for a quick photo after running into each other in Las Vegas.

The Flamin' Hot actress, 48 ​​— who recently wowed at the Palm Springs International Film Festival — could be seen flashing a big smile as she shared a hug with the John Tucker Must Die star, 45.

The photo was originally uploaded to the actor's Instagram Stories on Monday and he captioned it, “Nothing,” which is like meeting an old friend! I love you @evalongoria.”

She reposted the image in her own stories, typing at the bottom: “Reunited in Vegas! @realjessemetcalfe.'

The pair appeared to be standing in a lavish lobby when they happened to cross paths in the city.

She could be seen wearing a fashionable all-black ensemble as her brunette locks flowed down her shoulders in elegant waves.

The Hallmark actor was stylishly casual in black pants, a tan button-up and a white shirt underneath.

Eva and Jesse most notably starred in the hit series Desperate Housewives – which aired from 2004 to 2012 – and portrayed on-screen love interests.

In the show, Longoria's character, Gabrielle Solis, notably had an affair with a gardener named John Rowland – played by Metcalfe.

During an interview with Hello! Magazine in 2020, Jesse opened up about his friendship with Eva that has lasted over the years.

“She has always been a very supportive and loving friend,” he told the outlet. “We don't have that close contact, but when we do see each other, it's like not a day has gone by since we've seen each other.”

The actor added, “We follow each other on social media and I see where she is and how she spends her time and she just seems to be loving motherhood and I love watching her son grow up through Instagram.”

Notably, Eva is mother to son Santiago, five, with Jose Baston – who she tied the knot with in 2016.

“And I'm just so proud of the person she's become… She's really grown as a person and as a woman and she's just a role model, she's amazing,” Jesse continued.

Earlier last year in June, Longoria and Metcalfe had a quick reunion at the screening of her project, Flamin' Hot, in Los Angeles.

At the time per Peopleshe was in the middle of an interview with the outlet when she saw Jesse on the red carpet.

She waved goodbye and the two had a quick catch-up during the star-studded premiere.

Afterwards, the actress explained to the publication that she had to “get Jessie” because she hadn't seen the star “in a million years.”

Longoria notably made her feature film debut with Flamin' Hot, which was released on Hulu and Disney+ last year on June 9.

Over Saturday weekend, she notably attended a special screening and Q&A for the film in Los Angeles, which was moderated by Barbie actress America Ferrera.

And the day before, the mother-of-one turned heads while attending the La Cena Los Angeles event at NeueHouse in Hollywood. She wore a one-shoulder black dress and a wet hair look with bangs – which she later revealed were fake.
