Ethel Cain: Sydney Opera House Vivid headliner collapses onstage while performing

Chaos at the Sydney Opera House as the American singer collapses onstage at the sold-out Vivid show, forcing organizers to cancel the concert

Lively headliner Ethel Cain made fans concerned on Saturday after she collapsed on stage during her live show at the Sydney Opera House.

The Florida native, 25, was only three songs into her set when she passed out, prompting the stage crew to rush onto the stage to see if she was okay.

Ethel was performing her song A House in Nebraska when it happened, and the health scare led to the cancellation of the rest of the concert.

Thankfully, the crew helped Cain up and led her offstage before telling thousands of disappointed fans that the show was over.

The indie pop star has not publicly commented on the incident and it is currently unclear if she will perform her second scheduled Vivid show on Sunday night.

Footage of the incident was initially circulated on social media but was quickly removed after fans said it was “insensitive” to share it.
