The couple were suspended by the broadcaster ‘following an assessment’ of their behavior and allegations of bullying and clashes.

The Strawbridges shared an update on the latest state of affairs at the castle after their amazing departure.
They wrote: ‘A huge hello on this beautiful Wednesday! It’s been a humbling few days here for us and our team.

Last month it was revealed that the pair were suspended by Channel 4 ‘following a review’ of their behaviour.
Channel 4 launched an independent investigation after production company Two Rivers Media raised concerns about the Strawbridges and announced it would no longer be working with them.
A Channel 4 spokesperson said: ‘Following a review we have made the decision not to work with Dick and Angel on new productions in the future.’

The series made the pair household names as 2.5 million viewers regularly poured in to see the renovation of their 19th century Château de la Motte-Husson in Martigné-sur-Mayenne, France.
It was previously made by production company Spark Media Partners, who oversaw the first four seasons from 2016 to 2018. But it also allegedly cut ties with the Strawbridges over a feud.
A Channel 4 representative said: “Channel 4 plays an active role in exposing unacceptable behavior in our industry.
“Following a review of our processes in 2021, we have made it easier to file a complaint both formally and informally.
“We require all our manufacturing partners to follow our Supplier Code of Conduct and when concerns are raised with us, they will be taken seriously and steps will be taken to ensure they are investigated and appropriately addressed.
“There is always more to do and together with our suppliers we are committed to building safe, inclusive and professional work environments.”

They spoke out: They added that their future ‘really couldn’t look more exciting’ despite cutting ties with Channel 4
In recent weeks, Angel and Dick have been labeled ‘prickly’, ‘volatile’ and ‘a nightmare to work with’ amid their feud with Channel 4, after the network confirmed they would be severing ties with the pair.
Sources close to the pair told MailOnline that their on-set behavior was nothing like their “gorgeous” on-screen personas.
Insiders added that they couldn’t hide their “real characters” from crew members who spent weeks with them filming the popular show in northwestern France.
It has also been suggested that Channel 4’s culling of the hit show was ‘convenient’ as the series – which has been on screen for seven years and spawned numerous spin-offs – had run its course.
A source said, “Dick and Angel come across as the prettiest and sweetest couple on screen, literally like butter wouldn’t melt, but they’re not like that on screen.”
“It’s a full show, the production is in the castle with them for weeks, so they can’t hide their real characters — they can’t turn it on for two hours of recording and then not go back to their real persona.”
“They’re just prickly and volatile people and, as you can imagine, that’s a nightmare to work with.”
Angel later spoke out after leaked audio of her launching a foul-mouthed tirade at producers.
In the 2021 recording obtained by deadlinecan be heard telling a producer she’s “mad” at them before labeling them a “f***ed up little c***.”
Just hours after the taping came to light, Angel and Dick took to Instagram to thank fans for supporting the show, insisting it was a “family decision.”
They wrote, “Thank you for inviting us into your living rooms. You have seen our children grow up and shared our adventures.
‘It was a decision made by the Strawbridge family early last year to close Escape to the Chateau, but we loved every moment of it and despite the many challenges we refused to give up on our dream, filling the castle with love and laughter, and most importantly, have created the most beautiful home for our family.
“There are two sides to every story and from the incredible support we’ve received, most of you know that.
“We are proud of who we are, and we believe we should do what we believe is right, in fact that is what has kept Escape to the Chateau unique, and although we have parted ways with Channel 4, we are immensely grateful to them and their teams for their support and creativity over the years.
“The future really couldn’t be more exciting and we thank you for your continued love and support.”
