Entertainment Reporter And Podcaster Justin Hill Reveals The WORST Celeb He’s Ever Interviewed

Justin Hill is one of Australia’s most beloved entertainment reporters.

Having interviewed more than 1,000 celebrities during his 15-year career, the podcaster explained that celebrities aren’t always accessible on the red carpet.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia, Justin revealed that the most difficult star he’s ever had to work with was actor Mark Wahlberg.

Justin said he may have caught the A-list actor on a “bad day” given his reputation as a nice guy in Hollywood.

Despite previously mentioning it in a Q&A last year, Justin still stands by his choice as it was a “major turning point” in his career.

Entertainment reporter Justin Hill revealed to Daily Mail Australia the most difficult star he’s ever had to work with.

‘Before [interview]I have been very lucky and I have not caught anyone on a bad day,” he said.

“I never go into anything wanting to upset someone or wanting to make someone uncomfortable. So, I think with Mark, I could have gone away and said, “Oh, that was the worst interview I’ve ever done.” That is why I will say that it was the most “difficult”.

‘Because when I thought about it, I thought he had just come from Los Angeles. She was jet lagged. She had so much pressure on her shoulders to get people to go see that movie.

Justin said the moment was more of a learning experience than a negative one.

“My job from then on was to make sure I approach every interview with something that — and I see it physically when I do this on red carpets — immediately makes their shoulders drop and they feel relaxed,” she added.

‘Celebrities are just as nervous about talking to me as I am about them. They have a lot of pressure on their shoulders and a lot of people around them, a lot of responsibility.

“Everyone thinks it’s glamorous, and just taking pictures and stuff like that, but it’s a lot of pressure.”

Among her favorite celebrities to chat with are Oscar winner Angelina Jolie and Australian star Hugh Jackman.

I can’t even tell you how beautiful and kind and generous she was with her time. She is a huge celebrity,” she said of Jolie.

‘And Hugh Jackman, oh my God. He is like the kindest human being you will ever meet. And he remembers your name. Remember the last time you talked to him. He is like the ultimate professional.

‘Once, he slapped me on the butt. Which is cool too,” Justin joked.

More recently, the interviewer has spoken with big names like Margot Robbie, Chris Hemsworth and Paul Rudd.
