An injured girl has been declared a hero after she bravely tried to protect her mother who was involved in an alleged confrontation with her partner.
Sven Lindemann, 52, a German-born fitness fanatic, remains in hospital under police guard after his partner Monique Lezsak, 39, died of stab wounds at her parents’ home in Melbourne’s southeast Endeavor Hills on Tuesday morning.
Ms. Lezsak’s 10-year-old twins, a boy and a girl, were both home at the time of the alleged attack.
According to Ms. Lezsak’s heartbroken friends, the girl bravely tried to intervene in the alleged confrontation between her mother and Lindemann.
The girl suffered cuts to her arm and was taken to hospital in stable condition. She has now been released.
“She’s definitely a hero in our eyes,” said Jacqueline Schwarcz.

“She is physically fine, but obviously as a family we just surround her and support her through this because this is not something we know how to navigate.”
Mrs. Lezsak considered her children “the most important thing in her life.”
“Most importantly, she was the best mother,” Ms. Schwarcz added.
“She was so kind, she lived for her children.
“Every day was all about her kids and she made sure to give them experience and fun.”
Another friend described Mrs. Lezsak as quiet and reserved, who had recently started her own beauty company and was optimistic about the future.
“She was a top athlete who trained rain, hail or shine and nothing stood in the way of her gym session. I really took inspiration from her dedication to her passion,” Jade Roberts told The Age.
The pair often went for walks together after dropping their kids off at school.
“We felt we were the moms who didn’t quite fit in and that’s how we bonded. It was just an instant, beautiful connection,” Ms. Roberts said.
Conversations with her were always the calm in the storm of raising young children. We would drop the kids off and go for a walk. That was our thing.’

A German-born bodybuilder from Adelaide, Lindemann is a self-proclaimed “gym junkie” whose multiple social media accounts showcase an obsession with fitness, conspiracy theories about the end of the world, UFOs and aliens, and topics such as “universal consciousness” and ‘spirit energy’.
Lindemann, who himself is a father of two children who live in South Australia, was in a relationship with Ms Lezsak for several months before her death. He had only recently returned from a trip to his native Germany.
It comes after Daily Mail Australia revealed on Wednesday that Lindemann wrote ‘remember you’re going to die… and you don’t know when’ in an Instagram post days before his partner’s death.
Ms Lezsak and Sven exchanged several admiring messages on Instagram in the weeks leading up to the police call to the family home of the mother of two in Kassan Gardens in Endeavor Hills on Tuesday night.
Mr Lindemann, who is formerly from South Australia and is believed to be the slain woman’s new boyfriend, has the words ‘don’t f*** with my vibe’ as part of his Instagram biography.
The Instagram post about the death was on a list of “10 bitter truths” the self-proclaimed gym junkie posted about “mortality, happiness, and material wealth.”
The day before the alleged stabbing, Sven posted a strange video from an apartment’s fisheye security door camera, and his previous posts included statements about death, fate and being an “alpha male.”

Ms. Lezsak appears to have been dating Sven for only a few months, after taking a mutual interest in bodybuilding with the German-born fitness fanatic.
German-born Melbourne bodybuilder Sven posted on Instagram that he was an ‘alpha male’ and wrote days before Ms Lezsak’s stabbing ‘remember you are going to die… and you don’t know when’
On May 20, Ms. Lezsak admired a photo Sven posted of himself during a visit to Germany, where he toured World War II bunkers, Hamburg and his hometown.
She spent time with a bodybuilder girlfriend in Queensland before returning to reunite with Sven in Melbourne, he posted “Bring that peach home already” and her reply “coming babe”.
On April 23, she had posted about spending time with Sven, writing “Weekend away with you” with a love heart and the hashtags “#datenight #dinner #fun #laughs.”
In other posts, Sven calls himself an ‘alpha male’ and writes ‘tough times don’t last, but hard men do’.
The pair also posted on Instagram about training hard to build their muscles and get slimmer.
Sven is in serious condition in hospital with ‘life-threatening’ injuries to the upper body, Victoria police confirmed.
The Victorian homicide team are investigating, but detectives have said they are not looking for anyone else, with the 52-year-old man under police guard at Alfred Hospital being the only suspect.
Anyone with information or CCTV footage of the incident is asked to contact police.
