Emmerdale fans were shocked on Monday night’s episode as two couples enjoyed a steamy tryst.
The episode saw the local GP, Dr. Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson), and nurse Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson) share a passionate kiss during surgery.
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) tried to put lips together with Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) as the pair shared a bottle of wine.
Half the double dose of passion came about after Dr. Liam was nominated for an award for his fiction work in Murder Most Murky magazine.

Unable to contain their excitement, the costumed couple turn to face each other as Liam hugs Wendy, while the medic launches his lips and fake mustache at her as they kiss, with Wendy welcoming the romantic gesture.
Elsewhere, Bob told Bernice about his stress at work, and the conversation soon turned to how they feel about each other as the wine flows.
As Bob told Bernice he thought she was beautiful, Bernice moved in to kiss him.
However, Bob jumped back, seemingly afraid to kiss his friend.
One viewer took to Twitter and compared it to a famous ITV2 dating show, writing: ‘Tonight @emmerdale has turned into an episode of love island #Emmerdale.’
While someone else posted, “I’m surprised Wendy didn’t start laughing, Liam tickled her with that fake moustache.”

During the episode, Caleb was seen sneaking into Kim’s lavish Home Farm estate and successfully installing spyware on her laptop.
After sneaking out, he was next seen on the phone with Nicky standing in the Home Farm kitchen watching Kim on her computer, the businesswoman appearing to be in deep concentration as she worked.
However, fans took to Twitter to insist that Kim caught the scheming couple, with many claiming they knew exactly how.
