Emma Watson made a rare appearance with her brother Alex as the siblings enjoyed a night out at the Soho House Awards in New York on Thursday.

The Harry Potter star, 33, cut a glamorous figure in a plunging nude crochet top over a matching skirt as she posed with her brother at chic members club Dumbo’s House.

Alex, an actor and model, 31, opted for a smart navy blue suit with a black T-shirt as he visibly laughed with Emma at the event.

Emma has previously opened up about her close relationship with her brother, calling him someone who helped her “find the most challenging things over time, incredibly funny.”

This year marks the second annual Soho House Awards, which are ‘designed to recognize and showcase the incredible work of creative talent within our membership: from established icons to future stars, undiscovered changemakers and everyone in between.’

In April, Emma penned a reflective Instagram post offering insight into the close relationship she has with her brother.

She wrote, “I felt really sad and was really angry about a lot of things.

“I learned more about love and being a woman. It took me three years, but I finally discovered a daily practice and can even maintain it for more than a few days at a time.”

In an Instagram post reflecting on her life to mark her 33rd birthday, Emma wrote that Alex had helped her “find the most challenging things, over time, incredibly funny.”

In July, Emma and Alex also joined forces to launch their own gin brand Chablais, inspired by their family trips to the vineyard of the same name in France during their childhood.

She said in a statement: “For me, Renais is a family project. Not only does the Chablis region bring back very special memories of growing up, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to create something with my brother Alex.

‘I’m particularly proud of upcycling grapes from vineyards (including my father’s) to reduce waste and create something new, being one of the few gins on the market to use mushroom packaging, and of our carbon neutral product status.

“We keep challenging ourselves here as much as possible, because this is such a passion of mine.”

It comes after Emma fooled fans with her “gravity-defying” dress last month.

She took to Instagram, where she posted pictures of herself posing with her brother Alex for his new gin brand Renais.

Emma looked sensational in a stunning strapless baby blue draped mini dress with asymmetric wiring, from Loewe’s Spring 2023 collection.

The superstar’s followers were immediately confused about the texture of the garment, wondering how it stayed in place and wondering if it was Harry Potter-style wizardry.

One fan asked, “What the hell is that dress?” while another added, “The dress looks like it’s floating.” I’m trying to understand.’

“The dress said wingardium leviosa,” someone else responded while another follower asked, “How does that dress look on your body?” Is it hanging on your ears?’

One claimed, “This dress defies physics,” while another admits, “This image deceives me,” while another commented, “The dress gives wingardium leviosa.”

The new photos come just days after Emma hitched a ride with snack brand founder Ryan Kohn while the duo were frolicking in Venice.

The new single star looked in high spirits just weeks after it was reported she had split from retail magnate Sir Philip Green’s son, Brandon.

Emma was with Brandon for 18 months and it was in Venice when their relationship went public after they were spotted holding hands.
