Em Rusciano reveals whether she plans on political career as she poses alongside lookalike daughters
Em Ruciano is known for her outspoken views.
And the podcaster’s fans have long pushed for the 45-year-old to run for political office.
Unfortunately for her supporters, Em explains in this week’s issue Stellar magazine that she has no interest in parliament.
‘Absolutely not. I don’t want to be part of that case. You need to listen to the opinions of others, be somewhat measured and give the impression that you are in control of your emotions. I have none of those qualities. “I also think being a politician makes you impotent,” she said.
“The biggest punk rock act I can do is continue to show up as myself, make things that are challenging and try to push that needle forward in the way conversations happen around neurodivergence,” Em continued.

“It’s sad that as a 45-year-old disabled woman, showing up loud and proud is an act of renegade, so I will continue to do so. That has much more scope than me wanting to be elected. That would be a mess.’

The singer shares Marchella and Odette with husband Scott Barrow, and the pair also have a son, Elio, four.
She recently revealed that her daughters are “queer” and have no gender preference when it comes to finding a partner.

“That’s what I tell my daughters: Damn it,” she said, adding that the couple has not yet taken her advice.but it will happen,” she said on an episode of her podcast, Emsolation.
“Every time we walk past a good-looking person, because my daughters… I think we would call them strange, they just like that person,” she continued.
‘And I’m like, “Oh, she’s good, he’s good.” I’m like “look at them, look at them”. They don’t need Grindr or Bumble or whatever they’re on,” Em added.
Em previously revealed that Odette has been diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
Ruciano was diagnosed with level one autism in November 2022, just one year after being diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
She also revealed that her youngest child, son Elio, has also been diagnosed with autism.
