Not on my ticket! Elizabeth Warren REFUSES to endorse Kamala Harris as the next vice president as she enthusiastically endorses Joe Biden for a second term

  • Senator Elizabeth Warren encouraged Joe Biden to run for president again in 2024
  • He deviated from Kamala Harris, saying it was important that they be a ‘team’
  • This month, Warren said she will run for the Massachusetts senator for the third time.

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren enthusiastically endorsed Joe Biden to run for president again, but she wouldn’t say the same about Kamala Harris.

Former presidential candidate Warren, 73, was asked on Boston Public Radio Friday whether the president should run for a second term in the 2024 election, to which she emphatically replied: “Yes. He should run again.

He was then asked about Harris, but demurred: “I really want to give in to what makes Biden comfortable on his team.”

‘I have known Kamala for a long time. I like Kamala. I met her when she was attorney general and I was still teaching and we worked together on the housing crisis, so we’ve known each other for a long time.’

Massachusetts senator and former presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren enthusiastically endorsed Joe Biden to run for president again, but she wouldn’t say the same about Kamala Harris.

Warren and Harris ran as presidential candidates in 2020, but Harris went on to be Biden’s vice president.

Warren praised Biden for having “accomplished a lot” despite having the “slimest possible majority” in the Senate and a slim majority in the House.

In particular, he praised the Cut Inflation Act for being the first corporate tax increase in 30 years, as well as the CHIPS and Science Acts that seek to incentivize US semiconductor manufacturing.

Biden has not formally announced a re-election bid, but has long suggested that he plans to do so. Warren reiterated that, saying in the interview, “he’s running again.”

Another policy that Biden praised for overseeing was the Affordable Insulin Now Act, which capped the cost of insulin at $35 for seniors.

Think about these things. Seniors won’t have to spend more than $2,000 a year on pharmacy prescription drugs,’ he said.

The interviewer then raised the issue of Biden’s age, who would be 86 at the end of his second term.

‘If he’s that age in a second term, that vice presidency becomes even more important. Should Kamala Harris be her choice for the second time? asked the interviewer.

Warren responded: ‘We worked together on the housing crisis. So let’s go back. But they need, they have to be a team. And my feeling is that they are. I don’t mean to suggest that I think there is a problem. I think they are.

Warren (pictured on the 2019 campaign trail) informally confirmed that she will seek re-election to the US Senate for a third time.

Warren and Harris both ran as presidential candidates in 2020. The two argued over the issue of whether or not Donald Trump, who was president at the time, should be banned from Twitter.

During the Democratic primary debate in Ohio in October 2019, Harris insisted that Trump’s Twitter page had to be shut down, but Warren was hesitant.

Harris said: “This is a corporate responsibility issue and Twitter should be held accountable and shut down that site.” It’s a matter of safety and corporate responsibility.’

“I don’t want to get Donald Trump off Twitter,” Warren responded. I want to get him out of the White House.

His comments about the future leadership of the Democratic Party came just a week after he informally confirmed that he will seek re-election to the United States Senate. Doing so would mark her third term after being elected in 2012.

Warren defeated incumbent Senator Scott Brown to become Massachusetts’ first female senator.
