Elise Stefanik will pledge to defend Trump against deep state ‘weaponization’ and tout how she has brought down Ivy League presidents over anti-Semitism in fiery CPAC speech as VP battle intensifies

Top Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik will deliver strong remarks at the 2024 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), defending Donald Trump against the deep state’s many attempts to keep him out of power.

Stefanik plans to praise Donald Trump — whom she has long supported — and fiercely defend him amid his many legal battles, as rumors swirl about whether she could be tapped as a potential running mate for the former president .

“I am proud to be the first member of Congress to endorse President Trump for re-election,” Stefanik is expected to say Friday, based on her comments obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com.

“I have stood in the gap for President Trump, for the Constitution, and most importantly for you – the people – in some of our republic’s toughest battles.”

She will go on to say that the “closer” Trump gets to winning in 2024, the “dirtier” the Democrats and “corrupt prosecutors” will become. That includes the many lawsuits he faces and the whopping $355 million fine he just had to pay in his civil fraud case in New York.

“They will stop at nothing, and I mean nothing in their effort to steal the next election,” she plans to tell an adoring Republican crowd that will surely be on fire about Trump’s endless legal troubles.

Stefanik, who chairs the Republican Conference in the House of Representatives, will also sternly warn that Biden’s “deep state” administration is working to take down conservatives.

Rep. Elise Stefanik is expected to make scathing comments about the federal government’s weaponization of conservatives and former President Donald Trump

Stefanik — who is now one of the highest-ranking Republicans in the House of Representatives — will deliver remarks at CPAC 2024 on Friday afternoon

Donald Trump has asked Stefanik to make remarks at some of his campaign events

“If they arm the government against President Trump, they can use it against you. And they did that.’

The Justice Department has launched investigations against Christians, parents, gun owners and more, according to shocking documents revealed by House Republicans.

“Joe Biden’s gun-toting DOJ has targeted Catholics, gun owners, conservatives and even parents at school board meetings,” she is expected to say.

The New York Republican is a member of the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, which has been investigating federal agencies that have allegedly used their powers to censor and attack the Biden administration’s opponents.

Her comments at CPAC strongly supporting Trump come as the battle over who could be his next vice presidential pick heats up.

Earlier this week, Trump floated several potential running mates during an interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., former Democrat Tulsi Gabbard, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem were all on Trump’s short list of potential deputy presidents .

“Frankly, all those people are good,” Trump said of the potential running mates. “They’re all good, they’re all solid.”

Notably, Stefanik was not on the shortlist of said candidates, but she is widely expected to still be in the running for his No. 2 spot.

The New York Republican will also remind conservative audiences of her infamous removal of Ivy League presidents for their anti-Semitic comments.

Stefanik, a Harvard graduate, spoke at a congressional hearing last year with University of Pennsylvania President Liz Magill and former Harvard President Claudine Gay.

“I’ve had many high-profile hearings over the years, but this was the most morally bankrupt testimony I have ever seen,” Stefanik is expected to say.

“Does calling for the genocide of Jews violate your university’s code of conduct on bullying and harassment?” she asked the Ivy League presidents at a December hearing on anti-Semitism.

Both Magil and Claudine responded that it depended on the context: testimonies that would ultimately lead, at least in part, to their dismissal.

Magil resigned four days after testifying before Congress, and Gay resigned almost a month later.

“It is now the most viewed testimony in the history of the United States Congress, with billions of views,” Stefanik will say.

Representative Elise Stefanik will make strong remarks in defense of Donald Trump

“I graduated from Harvard, but that’s not the achievement, the achievement is graduating from Harvard and remaining conservative.”

“These are the same so-called ‘elite’ schools that rank last when it comes to defending freedom of speech. They blithely dismiss conservatives simply because they are pro-life or stand up for election integrity, and yet they fail to condemn the genocide of the Jews.”

“We must stop the flow of taxpayer money into these dens of anti-Semitism. We must account for every dollar of foreign funding flowing into these schools and we will end the tax breaks that have fueled this moral rot on campus.”

Stefanik will address CPAC on Friday at 3:30 PM EST.
