Donald Trump tells U.S. to stop trying to turn ‘Baghdad into Palm Beach’ as he warns at Jewish conference: ‘If you spill a drop of American blood, we will spill a gallon of your’s’

  • Trump said the US must end years of efforts to create more stable governments in the Middle East
  • Came when he warned Iran and Hamas against wasting even a ‘drop’ of American blood or risk losing a ‘gallon’ in return
  • Ex-president spoke at Republican Jewish Coalition summit in Las Vegas, just weeks after Hamas launched brutal conflict with Israel

Donald Trump issued stark warnings to America’s adversaries, claiming that if a foreign entity “tries to kill our citizens, we will kill you.”

The former president appeared stunned during his remarks Saturday at the Republican Jewish Coalition summit that Hamas actually launched the brutal attack on Israel earlier this month.

“Three weeks ago, our world was devastated by an attack on Israel,” Trump noted.

He also said a major problem is America’s repeated attempts to bring democracy to other countries, which he said only endangers the US further.

“Under my leadership, we will not waste our strength trying to build democracies or quicksand as we are trying. ‘Let’s take over a country and turn it into a democracy.’ How does that work? Not so good,” Trump told a room full of Jewish Republicans at the Venetian Casino and Conference Center on the Last Vegas Strip.

“We will turn Baghdad into Palm Beach,” he joked. ‘It is not going so well.’

Former President Donald Trump said Saturday that Americans should stop trying to turn “Baghdad into Palm Beach,” following years of efforts to create more stable governments in the Middle East

However, he did assure, “We will use American power to deter those who wish to harm our people.”

Trump emphasized that Iran is as responsible for the carnage in Israel as Hamas. The deadly attack killed more than 1,400 Israelis and resulted in the highest death toll among Jewish people in a single day since the Holocaust.

He also said that 100 percent of the money paid to Gaza for humanitarian aid will end up in the hands of Hamas terrorists.

Trump closed out the morning events of the RJC Summit, which featured eight 2024 Republican candidates — but he also saw the field shrink by one when former Vice President Mike Pence announced he was withdrawing from the race.

But if elected for another four years, Trump said he would take the lead with an even heavier hand than his first term in enacting retaliation against those who threaten America and its citizens.

“When I get back to the White House, the United States will support Israel all the way,” he told a roaring crowd.

“When I get back to the White House, America’s enemies will now once again – and they will know – that if you try to kill our citizens, we will kill you,” Trump said. In the photo: Smoke rises after nighttime airstrikes between Israel and Gaza

“We will fully support the Israelis in their mission to ensure that Hamas is decimated and that these atrocities are avenged – they will be avenged,” he vowed. “In many ways they will be avenged, I think, even beyond what you think about.”

Trump also early on joined the chorus of Republicans blaming President Joe Biden for creating a “weaker” US that other countries and hostile entities felt emboldened to attack.

Since Biden came to power, it has happened with Russia in Ukraine, Hamas in Israel, and now there are fears that China could be the next attack on Taiwan.

“Biden’s weakness invites war and death because, as history shows, evil respects only one thing: unyielding strength,” Trump said.

“When I get back to the White House, America’s enemies will now once again – and they will know – that if you try to kill our citizens, we will kill you too,” he added.

The former president said he had already told this to other countries.

“If you spill a drop of American blood, we’ll spill a gallon of yours,” he continued. “We do it because we want to bring about peace.”
