Kamala Harris displays bizarre tic as she addresses DNC – and Trump was among first to notice

Donald Trump slammed Kamala Harris for repeating the phrase “Thank you” before her speech at the Democratic National Convention.

“Too many ‘Thank yous,’ said too soon, what’s wrong with her?” wrote Trump, himself a seasoned practitioner of large rallies during his years on the campaign trail.

Harris said “Thank you” a total of 27 times before she even began her speech. She did so while thanking the ecstatic crowd for their rapturous welcome and seemed to politely try to stop the clapping and cheering so she could speak.

The crowd cheered “Ka-ma-la” and “US-A,” but Harris tried to stop them by saying, “Let’s get to the point.” She began her speech by saying “thank you” four more times to her friends and family.

Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany’s sister also noticed the tic, writing, “How many times has Kamala just said thank you?”

Haris had accused Trump of inciting the mob on January 6 and included a passage in her speech saying he had been found guilty of fraud and was liable for sexual abuse in court

Donald Trump and other social media users were stunned by Kamala Harris’s outpouring of “thank yous” before she began her speech

And conservative commentator Meme’nOnLibs joked: “Kamala says ‘Thank you’ for 5 minutes because she has nothing else to say.”

Trump also entertained his followers with another post on TruthSocial in which he said, “IS THEY TALKING ABOUT ME?” The former president was clearly listening to the speech and his comment was likely meant as a joke.

Trump was also critical when Harris expressed his appreciation for the time running mate Tim Walz spent coaching the high school football team.

“Walz was an ASSISTANT coach, not a COACH,” Trump said.

Trump also took aim at her biography of her work as a San Francisco district attorney before becoming California’s attorney general.

“She’s talking about how great San Francisco was before she destroyed it. That’s probably not a good idea!” Trump wrote.

He couldn’t resist using the phrase “WHERE’S HUNTER” just days after the president’s son appeared on stage with President Biden during his late-night speech.

He took exception to her lengthy January 6 piece, in which she said he “plans to release violent extremists who attacked Capitol Police officers on January 6.”

Former President Donald Trump gave Kamala Harris bad reviews for her policies — and her delivery of her convention speech. “Too many ‘Thank yous,’ too soon,” he said as she thanked cheering Democrats at the start of her speech.

According to Harris, Trump “sent an armed mob to the Capitol” and “turned on fire” when people pleaded for help.

“PEACEFUL AND PATRIOTIC!” Trump wrote on January 6, using words he has used in the past to the crowd.

She also said he was “found guilty of fraud by a jury of ordinary Americans” in his New York fraud trial and “held individually liable for committing sexual abuse,” referring to the verdict in the E. Jean Carroll case.

“These prosecutions were all initiated by her and Biden against their political opponent, ME!” Trump countered.

He also continued to grill Harris on immigration, as he did during a visit to the border on Thursday.

“The chaos and disaster are causing our country to be infiltrated by millions of criminals!” Trump said.

His comments ranged from the specific to the general, as Harris laid out her agenda for “freedom” and led the crowd in cheers: “We are not going back.”

“No specific programs, ALL TALK, NO ACTION — Why didn’t she do it three and a half years ago?” he said.

One of his longest complaints was about abortion rights, an issue that has stirred public opinion and some Republicans worried that Trump would have a hard time with suburban women.

“I am not restricting access to birth control or IVF – THAT IS A LIE, these are all false stories she is making up that I have never heard of. They are just words coming out of her mouth. I TRUST WOMEN TOO, AND I WILL KEEP WOMEN SAFE! SHE WILL NOT BECAUSE THE INVASION OF OUR COUNTRY ON HER OPEN BORDER IS DESTROYING THE LIVES OF WOMEN, AND THE FAMILIES AND JOBS OF AFRICAN AMERICANS AND HISPANICS.”

Democrats have been pressing Trump for days about the Project 25 agenda, handing out stars with large printed text to underscore their point.

Trump said what his campaign has been saying for months about reports based on policies developed by the outside group, which includes former Trump advisers but is separate from his campaign.

“LYING AGAIN ABOUT PROJECT 2025, WHICH SHE AND ALL THE DEMOCRATS KNOW, AND WHICH I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH AT ALL!” he wrote.
