Donald Trump leaves his New York Tower for a Sunday round of golf

Donald Trump left Trump Tower in Manhattan for a round of golf on Sunday morning.

In photos obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, the former president was shown in his usual golf attire: a white polo shirt, black slacks and his red Make America Great Again ball cap.

Trump waved as he left his residence in New York City.

It comes as Trump continues his diatribe against new 2024 competitor Ron DeSantis.

Late Saturday night, Trump posted on his Truth Social account another attack on Florida’s governor, who announced his candidacy Wednesday at a glitchy Twitter Spaces event.

“Ron DeSanctimonious, as in ‘The Apprentice,’ just fired his friend and top campaign official, Phil Cox, because his campaign is a complete disaster and 2028 looks very bad,” the former president claimed in his post.

“His campaign manager, who so deftly handled the Ted Cruz campaign against me, wanted to work for me, but was rejected – a ‘money robber’ like no other, and will not stop until he has every last penny,” he said. added. “Now ‘Rob’ has to change the theme of his campaign from NEVER BACK TO WINNING IS NOT ALL!”

Trump warned DeSantis that it would be “disloyal” for him to run against him in the 2024 Republican presidential primary because it was the former president who helped him gain national recognition by backing him in Florida’s 2018 gubernatorial race.

While Trump spends his Sunday playing golf — as he does most weekends — President Joe Biden attends his granddaughter Natalie’s graduation from St. Andrew’s School in Washington, D.C. after spending his weekend at Camp David.
