- The dog fell off the edge of the cliff while walking on Christmas Day in east Devon
A dog made an amazing escape after falling 70 feet off a cliff and landing on a ledge.
The pet was walking on a lead but broke away from its owner during a walk on Christmas Day in Pinhay Bay, East Devon.
The owner looked on in shock as it went over the edge at Rousdon Landslip.
They raised the alarm and the dog was spotted on the edge by Lyme Regis Lifeboat.
Coastguard crews from Beer and Lyme Regis brought the dog to safety after the incident at 1.30pm on Monday.
