Doctor Who's Ncuti Gatwa has revealed that fans can expect 'a very energetic' fifteenth Doctor ahead of the new series.
The 31-year-old actor explained how he “showed off a lot of acrobatics on the first day of filming,” which was later removed when he gave insight into his character.
Previously best known for his role as Eric Effiong in Sex Education, he made his debut on December 9 in a special episode.
During Friday's The Graham Norton Show, Ncuti discussed his role in advance the fourteenth series, which will air sometime in 2024.
He said: 'I love physical theater and have had the opportunity to do a lot. I am a very energetic doctor. I was showing off the first day, with a lot of acrobatics, but they all dropped out!'

He added: “This is the first time The Doctor has been bi-generational and split into two. It was helpful that David Tennant wasn't dead and that he was still there, because I could impersonate him.'
When asked if he will be watching his first show on Christmas Day, Ncuti admitted: “I will but it is nerve-wracking and I know my dad will give me notes!”
The Doctor Who star was joined on The Graham Norton Show by Imelda Staunton, Jamie Dornan, Jack Lowden and Gregory Porter, who performed live in the studio.
Doctor Who boss Russell T Davies piled on the nostalgia earlier this week when he revealed Ncuti's Doctor is set to meet The Beatles in his upcoming series.
During a private screening of the upcoming Christmas special, Russell said: “(The Christmas special is) completely different to the next episode, isn't it? And then the one after that, that's the Beatles… that's crazy!'
It will not be the first time that The Beatles have appeared in the popular British sci-fi series, although it will be their first, partly posthumous, appearance.
A clip of the band performing their song Ticket To Ride was featured in a 1965 episode during the very first Doctor's tenure.
Ncuti was announced as the Fifteenth Doctor in May 2022 and debuted in a special episode on December 9.

It was the third and final episode of the 60th anniversary special, and saw the Fourteenth Doctor (David Tennant) 'bi-regenerate' into the Fifteenth Doctor.
This meant that for the first time, two incarnations of the Doctor coexisted.
The Fourteenth Doctor remained on Earth with his companion Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) and the Fifteenth began wandering the universe with his companion Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson).
Fellow Scottish actor David, 52, also played the Tenth Doctor from 2005 to 2010, making him the first to play two incarnations.
The Tenth Doctor was charismatic and easy-going, while the Fourteenth Doctor is humorous and compassionate.
Ncuti's Time Lord is very hyper and wears his emotions on his sleeve, and is also quite lonely.

The third and final episode of the 60th anniversary special saw Ncuti's Doctor appear alongside David as the pair were 'bi-rejected' – with both surviving the process.

Ncuti starred in Netflix's Sex Education from the first series in 2019 to the last in 2023.
Previously he did a lot of theater work and in an interview with The Rolling Stone, Ncuti expressed his desire to return to the stage.
However, he assured fans that this would not happen until he had completed at least two series of Doctor Who.
In 2024, Ncuti will appear in the Apple TV war miniseries Masters Of The Air alongside Golden Globe winners Austin Butler and Barry Keoghan.
