Diddy was photographed walking out of his Miami home on Tuesday.
The music manager, 54, was having a chat along the dock of his Star Island property with his cell phone in hand and headphones in place.
It comes after federal agents raided his estates in Miami and Los Angeles last month as part of a sex trafficking investigation.
During the phone call, Diddy seemed tense at times.
He walked along the dock in a navy blue polo shirt, shorts and sturdy sneakers. His look was completed with a matching hat.

Federal agents raided the homes of rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs in Miami and Los Angeles last month in connection with an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.
Sources said ABC news that two of Diddy’s sons were detained and then released without charge. TMZ identified them as Justin and Christian “King” Combs.
Diddy was not present during the raids and was seen around Miami airport shortly afterwards.
Combs’ attorney, Aaron Dyer, denounced the way the situation was handled, saying a day after the raids: “Yesterday there was a gross, military-level use of force when search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs.
“There is no excuse for the authorities’ excessive show of force and hostility or for the way his children and employees were treated.
“Mr. Combs was never detained, but spoke with and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor his family members have been arrested and their ability to travel has not been restricted in any way.”
The raids came after the Harlem-born hip-hop star was hit with a slew of lawsuits for sexual assault, rape and other crimes after settling his ex-girlfriend Cassie’s similar lawsuit in November.
‘Enough is enough. Over the past few weeks, I have sat and watched as people tried to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy,” Diddy wrote on December 6 in his only statement on the matter.

“Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I have not done any of the horrible things alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”
The indictment alleged that he controlled and abused Cassie for more than a decade, also plying her with drugs, beating her and forcing her to have sex with male prostitutes while he watched and recorded.
Cassie and several other women who have sued him for sexual assault in recent months are reportedly cooperating with federal investigators as an alleged sex trafficking investigation involving the hip-hop mogul heats up.
Cassie has been working with investigators for “several weeks,” sources with direct knowledge say TMZ earlier this month.
The timing means the 37-year-old singer may even have cooperated with the FBI in the lead-up to the twin Homeland Security raids on the rapper’s mansions in Los Angeles and Miami.
Sources with knowledge of the investigation said Cassie may have helped authorities establish the probable cause needed to get a judge to sign the search warrants for the two mansions.
