Diana Vickers SLAMMED for ‘disrespectful’ video mocking Queen Camilla and Princess Diana

Diana Vickers has been criticized after posting a “disrespectful” video of her seemingly mocking Queen Camilla and the late Princess Diana hours before Saturday’s coronation.

The X Factor star, 31, wore a crown as she and fellow podcast presenter Chiara Hunter sang tastelessly about the royals.

Labeling the new queen as a “side piece” and saying she “played the long game” to get the throne after her secret love affair with the king.

The singer also scribbled the words “waste of time” on a photo of the late princess in her iconic revenge dress.

Their self-penned song began, “Ladies, this is a lesson for all of you, stay focused.”

Before ending with: ‘CAMILLA – what does it spell? Diana’s Worst Nightmare.

Outraged followers rushed to the comment section to blast the singer with one even describing the post as “bad.”

One of them wrote, ‘Um yeah but the woman you call the “loser” died horribly in a car accident so wtf is this’.

A second said, “Don’t understand why this is funny…I think it’s disrespectful.”

To which someone replied: ‘Okay. Very disrespectful to Princess Diana. Not funny’.

Another added, “This is incredibly distasteful,” and a third added, “truly repulsive.”

Meanwhile, someone else slammed the star and said, “The length you’re willing to go for a viral moment.”

While another said “I think it’s bad” and “You’re a bad sad little girl I feel sorry for you”

The king engaged in a secret affair with his current wife during his marriage to Diana, as he was old friends after first meeting in 1970.

The late princess wore the sleek black mini ‘revenge’ dress to dinner at the Serpentine Gallery in Kensington Gardens in June 1994 on the day her husband admitted his adultery.

It comes after it was revealed that Dame Judi Dench was invited to the coronation of King Charles at Westminster Abbey along with a slew of stars.

Dame Judi, 88, won an Oscar for her performance as Queen Elizabeth I in Shakespeare In Love and last year slammed The Crown for its “unjust” depictions of the royal family.

Fuming: Outraged followers rushed to the comment section to blast the singer with someone even describing the post as ‘bad’

As former spy chief ‘M’ in the James Bond movies, Dame Judi may be able to help Special Branch keep an eye on another national treasure who will be in Westminster Abbey – Rowan Atkinson.

The Mr Bean star, 68, once sabotaged a coronation and snatched the crown in spoof spy film Johnny English.

Absolutely Fabulous star and OBE Dame Joanna Lumley, 76, has also received her invitation as a guest from Charles and Camilla.

David and Victoria Beckham – the former of whom met the late Queen on several occasions – are also said to be on the list, but have yet to be confirmed.

One of the biggest stars at the coronation is American singer Katy Perry, who will perform for the king and his dignitaries.

And husband, 38, and Pirates Of The Caribbean star Orland Bloom, 46, and their two-year-old daughter Daisy will be there to cheer her on.

It comes after Katy was named an ambassador for The British Asian Trust, a charity founded by Charles, in 2020.

Perry, who will be staying at Windsor Castle, told Extra’s Melvin Robert: “I’m an ambassador to one of its foundations for the British Asian Trust, which focuses primarily on ending child trafficking, which is a major issue of our time when people don’t talk about it enough, and it just matched all my values… He asked me to sing and it all made sense.’

Judi’s invitation to the coronation comes after she accused Netflix hit The Crown of being ‘cruelly unjust’ to the royal family.

In a letter to The Times newspaper in October, she called on Netflix to display a disclaimer at the beginning of each episode to say it’s “fictionalized drama.”

She said it would also show respect for the loss of the royal family and the nation, she said.
