Desperate woman puts up posters begging strangers to stop feeding her naughty cat Dynamo who ‘pretends he is starving’ to get free food

A pet owner has gone to great lengths to make sure his mischievous cat doesn’t continue to scam the neighbors after realizing he was eating out several times a day.

Dynamo, a red cat from Henrietta Street in Bulwell, Nottinghamshire in Great Britain, likes a snack and doesn’t care who gives it to him.

His owner made a poster showing the striking kitty, asking people to turn around if they saw it outside their home.

“(He) is a hairy con artist who will pretend to be starving while living a life of unfettered indulgence,” the post read.

Then his meal plan was described.

“We’re talking artisan gourmet steamed meals three times a day, plus assorted treats like poached salmon.”

They added that they are worried about him turning into a “giant ass,” which is what prompted them to make the note.

Before adding a caveat to the cat’s temperament.

“He’s friendly but wary.”

“Don’t worry if he stares at you dismissively like a disappointed parent, that’s just his thing.”

They also recognized that if the cat allows you to pet it, you’re very happy, but still shouldn’t give it treats.

The kite was stapled to a telegraph pole, where a neighbor saw it and took a photo.

They posted it online with a warning about a scammer operating in the region, and it went viral, drawing 134,000 likes.

And it turns out the cat is as well known as its owners feared.

“He’s always looking around and likes to follow us down the street, talk to him often, he’s a good listener,” said one woman.

“Then no more Kiev for Dynamo,” said another.

Others just found the message hilarious.

“Sounds like my cat,” one laughed.

“I need to make a poster like this for my cat… he’s going to about five other homes I know so far,” said another.

“Dude sounds like a star,” added a third.

Or offered words of support.

“I hope you find the fat little one.”
