Democrat Senator Bob Casey celebrates taking taxpayer dollars to an LGBT center that offers gender reassignment services for children and has hosted events on ‘bigger d*** energy’

The Mazzoni Center in Philadelphia provides gender reassignment treatment to minors and has sponsored multiple events for transgender youth — and Democrat Senator Bob Casey just made them a huge amount of money.

The senior senator from Pennsylvania has secured $400,000 in taxpayer money for the Mazzoni center in the fiscal year 2024 spending package.

The nonprofit also hosts the annual Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference, which featured panels on “Bigger D*** Energy: Life After Masculinizing,” “The Ins and Outs of Masturbation Sleeves,” and “The Adolescent Pathway: Preparing Young People for Gender -Affirmative Care.”

“Today, Senator Bob Casey, along with Mazzoni Center leadership, announced a $400,000 congressional appropriation for building upgrades, including a building generator to protect refrigerated pharmaceuticals and vaccines,” the group posted on social media Thursday.

On Thursday, Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., visited the Mazzoni Center to celebrate raising $400,000 for the nonprofit.

“We thank the Senator for supporting LGBTQ+ health and wellness,” the message continued.

The center is known to provide puberty blockers and hormone therapy to patients, including children.

It also offers testing for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STDs), counseling and health education.

In addition to providing treatment at the center, the group also connects patients with surgeons who can perform gender reassignment procedures. In Pennsylvania, these operations on minors are legal.

The annual Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference, organized by the group, has sparked controversy in the past, canceling an event on de-transitioning in 2017.

The ‘Alternative Ways to Work with Gender Dysphoria’ and ‘Detransition: A Panel Discussion’ were both canceled because, the group wrote at the time, ‘when a topic becomes controversial, as this topic has incited on social media, there is a duty to to ensure that the debate at the conference itself does not get out of hand.’

“This detracted from our overall mission of the conference, to provide an accessible and respectful environment that centers the experiences of the transgender and gender non-conforming/non-binary (GNC/NB) community,” the post continued .

The center held a fundraising event titled ‘Kinky Cupcakes’

It has also sponsored transgender youth events involving minors

The Mazzoni Center also organizes ‘Femme University’, a meeting to teach the ‘younger generation’ of transgender people how to express and discover their feminine side.

The Mazzoni Center also supports a ‘Pride Prom’ for LGBT youth aged 14 to 18

In March, Casey withdrew his request for a $1 million allocation for another Pennsylvania LGTB group, the William Way LGBT Community Center, due to its controversial ties to kink and BDSM parties.

“Senator Casey has been a leader and ally in the fight to protect LGBTQ rights in the U.S. Senate and will continue to support the LGBTQ community in the Commonwealth,” a Democrat spokesperson said at the time after the revocation request.

“He believes that consenting adults have the right to do whatever they want in their spare time, but these types of credit projects warrant the highest level of scrutiny on behalf of taxpayers.”

Senator Casey withdrew his request for federal funding when new information emerged about third-party use of the facility.”

Casey’s office and the Mazzoni Center did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com for comment.
