David Beckham and wife Victoria lead the stars celebrating International Women’s Day

David and Victoria Beckham took to social media on Wednesday morning as they joined a number of stars celebrating International Women’s Day, including Amanda Holden, Katie Price and Tess Daly.

The former footballer, 47, took the opportunity to share a collection of snaps as he paid sweet tribute to all the women in his life for the global holiday.

Writing ‘today we celebrate you’, he opened up about his pride in his wife Victoria and daughter Harper Seven, 11, with an adorable photo of the couple rubbing their noses.

While the father-of-four also yelled out to his two sisters, Lynne and Joanne, mother Sandra and mother-in-law Jackie Adams.

Following her husband’s lead, Victoria shared a post specifically for her daughter while giving insight into family life, showing a more natural side with the shots.

For the first image, the fashion designer sported a face mask as she lay in bed and hugged her daughter Harper.

While another was from this week when the duo celebrated Paris Fashion Week together.

‘Happy International Women’s Day!! I love you so much #HarperSeven xx’, Victoria wrote.

While her husband took a trip down memory lane with a mix of recent and childhood photos with his family.

Looking unrecognizable in a photo, a young David smiled alongside his two sisters. While another showed him celebrating a soccer victory with his mother Sandra around the year 2000.

He wrote: ‘On this International Women’s Day I want to celebrate the amazing women in my life who inspire me with their work ethic, loyalty, kindness and love for their families… ♥️

Amanda Holden also shared her gratitude for all the women in her life as she celebrated the day, posting a photo montage video.

The clip featured her two daughters Lexi and Hollie, her sister Debbie, and several familiar faces including her friends Alesha Dixon, Ashley Roberts Sarah Parish, and Angela Griffin.

Tagging several of the women in her life, the Britain’s Got Talent presenter paid tribute to her late grandmother, noting that she misses her “every day”.

Supporting her peers in the inspiring post, Amanda wrote: ‘It takes a village, right? To get through life you need help and love and great people to lift you up and sometimes put a glass of wine in your hand! I feel so lucky and grateful to be surrounded by these incredibly challenging and fabulous women!

‘I admire you all so much and have been in awe of your accomplishments over the years! The advice, attention and support, as well as the endless laughs, are something I cannot live without. Side to side. Hand in hand we stand strong, we can achieve anything, we can change anything. (because damn, there’s still a lot to change)’

Amanda spent the morning with her close friend Ashley Roberts for the Heart FM Breakfast Show, and the latter shared a selfie of the couple to wish her followers a Happy International Women’s Day.

While Ashley also posted some inspirational quotes on her Stories, praising the strength of women.

Joining the bandwagon was Tess Daly, who shared an image of a quote from American feminist and playwright Ntozake Shange.

Waving to girls around the world, the Strictly Come Dancing host called the women “real life superheroes” as she yelled out to her family.

Liberty Poole made a statement with a topless video while stripping away gender labels and stereotypes.

Covering her chest with both arms, the former Love Island star stood in front of a screen as insults appeared, including ‘Dumb Blonde’ and ‘no talent’.

Withdrawing power, he explained: “The constant need to keep up with societal/social media expectations is exhausting and I wanted to say JUST BE NO POLEGICS YOU ❤️.”
