Surprising footage has been captured of a Queensland man crashing into several cars outside a school area at 88 mph.
An officer on a motorbike first saw the man’s white Ford Focus on Jones Hill near Gympie, two hours north of Brisbane, at about 3:10 p.m. Tuesday.
Police allege he was going 26 mph over the 60 mph speed limit on Mary Valley Rd before turning onto McIntosh Creek Rd, which encompasses the school zone.
Dashcam footage shows the Ford Focus hitting a car it overtakes, flipping it onto its side and briefly balancing on two wheels as the glass shatters on the tarmac.
A young child in school uniform can be seen walking on the footpath by the side of the road.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
