Dannii Minogue defends nude Playboy photo shoot as she admits her son, 12, has probably seen them

Dannii Minogue has defended her 1995 Playboy nude photo shoot, admitting that even her 12-year-old son Ethan and his school friends most likely saw the racy photos.

The international pop star, 51, posed for X-rated magazine more than 25 years ago to pay off her debts.

She said she didn’t regret doing the brutal shoot and describes it as a “complete feminist move.”

“It gave me personal strength. I still stand behind those pictures. I still love it,” she said The protector.

“My son is 12, he and his friends are all on their phones, they’ll Google, pictures will pop up — but I’m still absolutely 100% behind that as a complete feminist move.”

She went on to say that she doesn’t care what people have to say about it, and will always stand by her decision to strip down to her birthday suit and pose for the pictures.

My body, my choice, my space. I controlled everything about the photos, the shoot, everything. And it just made me feel powerful,” she said.

The Australian musician, who shares her son with ex-partner Kris Smith, took part in the nude photo shoot when she was “broke.”

Struggling to make ends meet after her sophomore album flopped and her Young Talent Time fame dwindled, Playboy made Dannii an offer she couldn’t refuse.

In 2009, Dannii spoke at length about the shoot, saying she turned to Playboy because she didn’t want to ask her celebrity sister Kylie Minogue for help.

Kylie knew why I did it. I could have asked her for the money, but it was not in my nature,” she said.

She continued, “I never wanted to admit that I was in trouble. I should have looked at my finances.’
