Dancing on Ice bosses have revealed a shock twist ahead of Sunday’s show, which will see previously safe celebrities dance for the final time.
The glitzy show will kick things up a notch this week with a double elimination that will bring the curtain down on two couples.
Celebrities are feeling the pressure ahead of this weekend’s show, with this twist set to make the next live show more dramatic than ever.
The couple who received the lowest score will immediately leave the competition without being given the opportunity for a skate-off to redeem themselves.
To stay in the competition, the celebrities will be out to impress as the score will merge the judges’ verdicts and the public mood.

The next two couples at the bottom of the leaderboard will have the opportunity to skate in an attempt to have a future in the competition.
Judges Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabus, Jayne Torville and Christopher Dean will get the chance to say who they would save to continue in the glitzy competition.
One person feeling the heat is actor Ryan Thomas, who made his name as Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street.
He said the competition was an “emotional rollercoaster” but he feels “lucky” with the help of his brother Adam.
The TV star, 39, said the skating competition has taken a “toll on his body and mind” lately, but he finds “a lot of comfort” in opening up to fellow actor Adam.
Waterloo Road star Adam, 35, appeared in the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing alongside Russian-British pro partner Luba Mushtuk.
As they both share experiences on the reality series, the brothers have been each other’s source of support throughout the challenging process – and Ryan revealed that Adam ‘mostly’ talked to him during his time on the BBC show.
‘I feel like we have a lot in common in that regard. We know the training. We know what it’s like to work with a partner day in, day out,” he told The Mirror.

‘We know the schedule is tough. It’s a similar process. And I’m lucky to have him in my corner.”
Ryan, who works alongside professional ice skating dancer Amani Fancy in the show, has not shied away from admitting that the rhythms of the demanding routine are now difficult to keep up with.
He acknowledged that his body is “tired” and sometimes struggles to “constantly be up there” – describing the feeling of being on a roller coaster as “one minute you’re up, the next minute you’re down.”
‘I’m not down on myself, I’m just tired. I think too much and want everything to be great. It’s very difficult to get it right all the time. And I hate watching videos of my feet and hands and positioning. Yes, it irritates me when I look back at things.’
Ryan made himself ‘a little proud’ after getting through the first show without many mistakes, although he was aware that the performance was not flawless, and called himself his own ‘harshest critic’.
To stay in the icy competition, the celebrities will be out to impress as the score will merge the judges’ verdicts and the public vote (last week’s vote for elimination)

The former Corrie sensation left the soap in 2016, after ten years on the show, and it looks like he’s gone for good.
Ryan eventually got engaged to TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh, 32, who he met in 2017 after taking part in Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls.
The couple share Lilah, one, and son Roman, three, while Ryan also shares daughter Scarlett, 10, with his ex Tina O’Brien.
Although he is considering returning to acting, the former soap star is confident Coronation Street will not be in his future.
Praising the legendary series and calling it ‘an institution’ – Ryan clarified that returning to Corrie at this point in this career would simply mean going backwards, like ‘going back in time’.
As he prepared for his next demanding performance on Dancing On Ice, he admitted he now needs ‘a new kick, a new challenge’.
Earlier last week, Ryan showed off his toned physique in a pair of tiny Calvin Klein knickers as he got a very deep spray tan ahead of his appearance on Dancing On Ice on Sunday.
The soap actor showed off his sculpted abs as he grinned while standing in the spray tan tent.
The father-of-three showed off his glowing tan as he rocked a mesh hairnet and gave two thumbs to the camera, joking that he smells like a cookie.
The former Coronation Street star wrote: ‘My favorite time of the week!…but I smell like a Biscoff Biscuit!’
