NFL and baseball legend Bo Jackson sent Damar Hamlin a message, telling her ‘we won’ after hearing the Bills’ hospitalized safety ask if his team had won Monday night’s game.
The 24-year-old has shown signs of encouragement in his progress in recent days after going into cardiac arrest and being revived during the first quarter of a Monday Night Football game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The soccer world came together after the horrific moment, and Jackson, who played for the Las Vegas Raiders from 1987-1990, answered Hamlin’s question three days after his collapse.

Doctors at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center said Hamlin had made “substantial improvement” Thursday.
“He is starting to wake up and it appears that his condition and neurological function are intact,” Dr. Timothy Pritts of the UC School of Medicine said in a video news conference.
Hamlin had been sedated following his CPR on the field Monday, but began communicating with doctors in writing on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old defensive back even asked the doctors who won Monday’s game, which was called off Thursday.
Jackson played for the Las Vegas Raiders from 1987 to 1990 and also played professional baseball.
“Our response was: Damar, you won,” Pritts told reporters. You have won the game of life.
On Friday, Hamlin’s breathing tube was removed and Buffalo team coach Sean McDermott also revealed that the player spoke to the team, saying “I love you guys” via FaceTime call on Friday and flexed his knees. arm muscles for his surprised Bills teammates.
