A father has shared his horror after discovering that he accidentally put a beer in his son’s lunch box when the school called to tell him to pick up his child.

American dad and popular money mindset coach Will Meyers posted a video on TikTokwhere he shared exactly how the switch happened.

Will explained that he accidentally packed a can of black Liquid Death (a fizzy watermark) and a can of Guinness beer, and the reason why the confusion happened is because they are both black.

In the video, Will said, “Well I have to go pick up my kid from school today because I made a big mistake.

“Whenever my son was born, the best advice I ever received was that you know more than you think, but today is not that day, let me show you.”

Will then went on to say that one of the black cans is sparkling water and ‘he [his son] likes that I put that in his lunch because it’s great’.

However, the other black can is ‘not sparkling water’, but rather a can of Guinness.

“It looks like it’s sparkling water, but it’s definitely not sparkling water,” said Will.

“And now I have to go pick up my kid from school and try to explain this situation.”

Will said he mistook a can of Guinness for a can of sparkling water that his son likes and regularly takes to school (pictured)

It didn’t take long for the clip to go viral, with over 2.7 million people watching and sharing their thoughts.

Most of the comments were full of people empathizing with the dad, writing things like “lol” and sharing emojis.

Others shared their own “daddy horror stories” about things they packed.

“My dad sent me to school with Mike’s hard lemonade in kindergarten so I guess it’s just a normal dad thing,” one person wrote.

“I sent two packs of cigarettes in a bag of paper plates and napkins to my daughter’s class,” another added.

One teacher said it’s a common mistake, writing, “A kid brought in a can of White Claw and thought it was just plain sparkling water too.”

A mother said she accidentally took her child to school with his sibling’s diaper bag instead of his book bag.
