Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden beamed on Monday as she completed her officer training at the Swedish Defense University in Stockholm.
The royal, 47, wore a full naval cadet uniform as she took part in a basic military strategy course – as part of her special officer training in preparation for her future role as head of state.
Dressed in military regalia, the heir to the Swedish throne was seen in a full navy blue suit with a crisp white shirt, sleek blazer and loose-fitting trousers.
The Swede looked fresh as she stepped out for the upcoming day of training. She looked smart and sophisticated with her hair in a sleek bun.
The royal beamed as she was pictured listening intently to fellow cadets before training started on Monday.
As part of her preparations to take on the role of head of state, Victoria is undertaking her Special Officer Training Course (SOFU) – training for armed forces personnel.
The specialized training was specifically tailored for individuals who already had an academic degree, and reportedly includes both theoretical and practical elements.
The officer program, which started on August 16, is the largest training regime at the Swedish Defense University, with a total of 255 cadets in training.

By participating in the program, Victoria will be one of only 28 percent of women enrolled in the Officer Program.
Cadets have the choice to specialize in one of three different programs including: war studies, naval sciences and military-technical specialization.
In April it was announced that the Crown Princess would undergo special officer training during the autumn months.
When she first took the course, the royal family made a special post on their official Instagram account, writing: ‘During the basic course, the Crown Princess had to delve into personal soldiering skills and practical combat situations.
‘The crown princess also received repetition and further development of prior knowledge.’
About her plans, Victoria said in the statement: ‘My ambition now is to put all my energy into officer training in order to represent Sweden and the Armed Forces in the best possible way in the future.
‘I look forward to an interesting and educational study time with my new classmates.’
Victoria was spotted getting stuck in her military training last November as she went through a rigorous training exercise in Stockholm.

Some images showed her smiling, showing she wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty when she joined the 1st Marine Regiment.
Dressed in military gear, the heir to the Swedish throne was seen carrying a large pistol as she attended the training event at Berga naval base in Stockholm.
She also posed for a group photo with others in the 1st Marine Regiment.
She donned military boots and a baseball-style cap, as she wisely opted to go makeup-free and put her hair in a practical, low ponytail.
She has been spotted attending other training events, including a classroom lesson on war games at the Swedish Defense University in October.
It comes after the Swedish royal family was seen wearing dresses to the nines when she attended the Nobel Prize ceremony at the Stockholm Concert Hall in December.
Victoria presented herself elegantly in a deep purple ball gown with off the shoulders, a sparkling tiara and a refined handbag.
The royal family joined her parents, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia, and husband, Prince Daniel, 51, on stage at the glamorous event.

She completed her look with glamorous makeup, complete with a smokey eye and a hint of blusher.
The Crown Princess is a panelist at the Nobel Prize Summit, an honorary board member of the International Paralympic Committee and an alumnus of the UN Organization for the Sustainable Development Goals.
She studied political science and history at Yale University and graduated from the diplomatic program of the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Queen Silvia, 80, opted for an equally dazzling navy blue dress with sequins and long sleeves.
Meanwhile, King Carl Gustaf, 78, dressed in a smart suit and skirt, presented the Nobel Prize winner in chemistry to American chemist and computer scientist John Jumper.
The monarch also presented the Nobel Prize winner for literature to South Korean writer Han Kang, 54, during the 2024 Nobel Prize ceremony.
Afterwards, the audience could enjoy a wonderful banquet. Royals mingled with the Nobel Laureates and seemed to enjoy conversations at the beautifully decorated tables.
Gold tableware was combined with countless different glasses and dozens of flowers.
The menu included a goat’s cheese dish, served with ‘Swedish beets, honey and quince glaze, along with roasted pumpkin seeds’ as a starter, a ‘chicken quenelle’ with a selection of vegetables as a main course, and a ‘variation on Swedish apples’ for dessert.
Theater performances with the Swedish singer Laleh Pourkarim followed shortly afterwards.
