Norway’s royal family donned traditional dress as they performed in public today to celebrate their country’s national holiday.
Crown Prince Haakon, 49, and his wife Crown Princess Mette-Marit, 49, beamed during the Norwegian Constitution Day celebrations at their Skaugum estate in Oslo.
The royal couple were even joined by their dog Molly and their son Sverre Magnus, 17, who waved to the crowd.
However, their daughter Ingrid Alexandra, 19, was not seen at the celebrations.
The Crown Princess wore an elaborate Norwegian traditional navy blue dress with a white blouse and black leather boots.

Prince Haakon chose to wear a men’s bunad suit; traditional Norwegian costumes with knee-high socks and white shirts, as well as pops of red – which features prominently on the country’s flag.
Sverre chose a tight navy blue suit that he wore with a purple tie, paired with smart black leather shoes.
They were also accompanied by their pet dog Molly, whose neck was adorned with cravats in the red and blue colors of Norway.
The holiday, celebrated on May 17 each year, marks the signing of the constitution that declares Norway an independent kingdom in 1814.
The constitution declared Norway an independent kingdom in an attempt to prevent it from being ceded to Sweden after the devastating defeat of Denmark and Norway in the Napoleonic Wars.
Celebrations, which take place across the country, include parades and royal appearances where the family greets crowds of the public.

It comes after Haakon and Mette-Marit replaced King Harald to welcome Italian President Sergio Mattarella to Norway last week – as the monarch recovered from an infection in hospital.
The couple attended an event at the Royal Palace in Oslo along with the Queen Consort.
Appropriately stylish, the princess was dressed in a lightweight gray woolen cape for the state affair – which saw a ceremonial wreath-laying ceremony and the signature of the Italian president in the guestbook at the palace to mark the start of the visit.
The mother of three wore a green midi skirt – which she paired with a plain white blouse and a paisley print brown tie.
Mette-Marit wore a matching crocodile-effect handbag to perfectly complement her blushing round woven hat.

The royal then opted for a nude pair of leather heels to complete her ensemble. Mette-Marit sported her blonde hair in her signature loose waves for the occasion.
Along with a silver smokey eye, the princess finished off her make-up with a pale pink lipstick.
In addition, Crown Prince Haakon wore his full military uniform for the welcome service.
The 49-year-old father-of-two is a full-fledged Norwegian army general, which means he had his medal on display proudly.
