Amazing moment locals pull a huge crocodile out of the water at a popular Bali beach: ‘I stay in the pools!’

An Australian sunbather holidaying in Bali discovered the moment about 20 locals pulled a monstrous crocodile out of the water.
Nicole Gonzales was out walking with her husband and 12-year-old daughter when she captured the rare moment at Legian Beach, a popular spot on the party island known for its golden sand and dazzling blue water.
Although saltwater crocodiles are found off the west coast of Indonesia, predators typically stay away from beaches, preferring coastal areas with mangroves, swamps, and wide river mouths.

‘The first time for everything! I just saw a crocodile wash up on Legian beach,” Ms Gonzales posted on the Bali Bogans Facebook page along with the 14-second clip.
Lifeguards dressed in red and yellow can be seen leading the group of locals along the sand as the crocodile is carried out of the water.
The creature is semi-restrained with a blue rope around its hind legs.
“We were walking down the street and we saw a large group of people gathered on the beach,” Ms. González said. 7NEWS.
“I went down to the water to see what was going on and that’s when I saw the crocodile.”
He asked people at the scene, but no one had any idea where he came from.
Horrified tourists were shocked by the discovery.
‘Oh! OMG no swimming for us,” one person wrote online.
Another said: ‘I’ll take the pools!’

Others felt sorry for the wayward creature.
“How horrible for this poor animal, I can imagine how distraught he would be,” one person wrote.
Another person on the popular social media page said: ‘A local told me it’s a pet that escaped from its cage.
“The police don’t want to answer any questions about what’s going to happen to him (but he’s probably going to the zoo.”
