Cristiano Ronaldo will ‘go BACK to Europe’ before he retires, claims Al-Nassr coach

Cristiano Ronaldo’s coach at Al-Nassr has claimed the striker will “go back to Europe” before retiring in his career, according to reports.

The superstar striker only secured a move to high-flying Saudi Arabia last month, but it seems talk of his future has already started to make the rounds.

And, this time, it is his own coach who has added fuel to the fire after Rudi García suggested that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner will have one last spell in Europe before hanging up his boots.

According to SPORTAl-Nassr head coach Garcia said: ‘Cristiano Ronaldo is a positive addition as he helps to disperse defenders.

‘He is one of the best players in the world. He will not finish his career at Al-Nassr, he will return to Europe.

Garcia was speaking after the team’s 3-1 loss to Al Ittihad in the semi-finals of the Arabian Super Cup, where Ronaldo failed to score.

The former Man United and Real Madrid star is yet to score for the club, having featured in two competitive matches for Al-Nassr.

However, the 37-year-old scored twice on his debut, which came in a dramatic friendly against PSG, who won the match 5-4.

Ronaldo secured a move to Saudi Arabia in December after falling out of favor with Man United manager Erik ten Hag and mutually terminating their contract.

The former Red Devil has reportedly invited his former United teammates to watch Al-Nassr play after missing out on a proper Old Trafford send-off.

In Al-Nassr’s next game, Ronaldo’s side travel to Al Fateh on Friday, while his former Man United colleagues face Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup in midweek.
