Cristiano Ronaldo rolled back the years after producing a stunning brace against Ireland in the final warm-up match for Euro 2024 in Portugal.
The Al-Nassr star has been the center of debate for his national side heading into the tournament as many claim the squad is better without the 39-year-old.
However, Ronaldo may have put an end to those debates after scoring two goals in the second half, including a sensational long-range strike.
Barcelona’s Joao Felix put the hosts ahead in the opening 45 minutes before veteran Ronaldo opened his account for the evening after the break.
The 39-year-old collected the ball on the right before cutting in and unleashing an unstoppable effort into the top left corner of the Irish goal.
He then doubled his tally for the evening by scoring another left-footed effort, which found the top right corner after the veteran was picked out in the penalty area.
