Costco reintroduces fan-favorite $9 frozen meal that’s already prompting surge in sales

Costco has relaunched a popular $9 frozen meal, much to the delight of fans.

The supermarket chain reintroduced the Robinhood Meetinghouse Cream Cheese Biscuits in its stores this summer.

The box of 24 cookies, made with real butter and cream cheese, retails for just $8.89.

The cookies can be stored in the freezer and baked straight from the freezer. Ideal as a quick and easy addition to a meal.

The frozen cookies are also free from artificial flavors and colors, glucose syrup and GMOs.

“Our cream cheese cookies are made with just seven simple, fresh ingredients, which we combine using the artisanal folding method that chef Michael Gagné developed thirty years ago,” Robinhood Meetinghouse said of their product.

Satisfied shoppers told The Kitchn they are ‘so happy to be back this year.’

‘They are the best. [They taste] “Just like homemade, and they last up to a year in the freezer,” said another.

Other favorite frozen meals from Costco include The Sandwich Bros. chicken melt sandwiches.

A pack of 15 costs $12.70, making them a great option for a cheap weeknight meal.

Kirkland Signature’s Italian Sausage and Beef Lasagna takes a little longer to prepare: 65 minutes in the oven and 24 minutes in the microwave.

It’s also more expensive: a two-pack costs $16.70.

Even loyal Costco fanatics love Red’s turkey sausage breakfast burritos.

At $15.70 for 10 small burritos, customers find the frozen meal affordable and delicious.

Costco is the largest grocery store chain with membership services, with sales twice as high as those of competitor Sam’s Club.

The chain’s standard membership costs $60 per year and its executive membership costs $120.
