Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent has reportedly split from her fiancé Kean Bryan after ten years.

The soap actress, 34, and former Sheffield United footballer, 29, are said to have quietly called off their engagement earlier this year.

Brooke and Kean, who share two young sons Mexx and Monroe, got engaged in 2022.

The actress shared a cryptic message on her Instagram referencing their alleged breakup over the weekend.

Sharing glamorous snaps from her girls’ night out, she captioned her post: “August… somehow an ending and a beginning at the same time.”

A source said: ‘Brooke and Kean have decided to split but are caring for their sons together. It wasn’t an easy decision for them and they are both trying to walk this new path together.

‘Brooke has thrown herself into work and spending time with her friends, and Kean is doing the same.

‘They had been together for ten years, so it always took time to adjust. Right now their focus is on their sons and maintaining normalcy for them,” she added The sun.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Brooke and Kean’s representatives for comment.

Brooke joined the cast of Hollyoaks in July, playing the character Abigail Matthews in a huge TV comeback.

The actress is best known for her role as Sophie Webster in Corrie.

Brooke took on the role of Kevin (Michael Le Vell) and Sally Webster’s (Sally Dynevor) youngest daughter Sophie in 2004 and remained on the program until 2019.

After seven years away from soapland, the mother-of-two landed the new role on the rival soap.

Brooke shared some photos of herself standing outside the welcome sign in the Hollyoaks village in April, with the caption: ‘So excited to be joining the cast of Hollyoaks for such a powerful storyline!!

“I’m so grateful for this opportunity to get back on screen and play a brand new character, and my family will be happy that I have a full-time job again, haha.”

Brooke’s role in Coronation Street is perhaps what she is best known for.

During her time on Corrie she had several breaks to take part in other projects, including a stage production called Be My Baby, and to take part in Dancing On Ice.

She went on maternity leave in 2019 to give birth to her firstborn Mexx, and then decided not to return to the soap.

Her first role since becoming a mother was Amy on The Syndicate’s UK tour in May last year.

Brooke is also a proud mother of Monroe SJ Bryan, whom she welcomed into the world in May 2021.

Brooke also starred in the ITV reality show Drama Queens in 2024, which followed the lives of Corrie, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks stars as they went about their daily lives.

Over the years she has also starred as herself in Tricked, I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp, Tipping Point: Lucky Stars, Carpety Blank, Celebrity Catchphrase and Dancing On Ice.
