Theo Corbeanu scored the only goal of the game as Blackpool beat Huddersfield 1-0 to at the John Smith’s Stadium on Sunday. 

Canadian international Corbeanu struck in the 38th minute to pile more misery on last season’s Championship Play-Off final runners up. 

Huddersfield had the lions share of possession but could not use it to their advantage to find a way through a resolute Blackpool defence.

The visitors were reduced to limited chances but converted one of only two shots on target in the game.

The result leave the Terriers in 23rd place in the Championship table and without a win their last four games.
